But he has a point though. It's his story. I'm sure he has already written atleast 3/4th of it. Cheating scenes will happen when it happens. It's the delayed update the only problem here.
That is not the problem. The problem isn't the lackluster update either. Shit happens and not all the updates are equal, I get it. The problem is he is not showing any signs of something better. He could have just said that I will make it up in the future but he never did. It is just stupid arrogancy.

What's there to explain? It's what the game is. You can decide if it's worth your time or not. If not, I'm sure you'll find something else that will satisfy your needs.
This is exactly what a developer with no passion left would like to say.
Honestly Stoper, KinkyFarmer is right. I'm not trying to troll you or be a bitch, but that non answer is extremely telling. I'm glad this update is complete, and you did communicate that the cheating route wouldn't be significant- so I'm not going to knock you for that at this point. But that sort of dismissive, disinterested, answer sums up the last 2+ months of this game's development. At some point I think you need to issue a mea culpa because this update has been catastrophic, I really don't know what other word to use.

And you don't owe us the mea culpa, but your patrons deserve it. Even if they're totally cool with everything, I think it would be healthy and respectful towards them to put everything out there and fall on your sword. You've discussed the troubles with this update it dribs and drabs, but I don't think there's ever been a comprehensive accounting of the last 7 months.

Not only should you do this for your patrons, but you should do it for yourself. Are you still enjoying this game as much as you were when you started? Do you agree with the idea that your output over the last 6-7 months is a problem? If not, can you explain why? If you do agree that this update has exposed problems in your process, a mea culpa to your patrons would be an opportunity for you to conduct a self assessment where you can figure out what went wrong, why it went wrong, and how to fix it for the future. I actually don't think it's wise for you to even begin working on the next update right away because I suspect that you're probably really frustrated. A frustrated creator does not strike me as someone that is going to do their best work. I think you need to take some time to figure things out, and in the meantime I think it would be professional of you to communicate in detail with your patrons why this update went so awry.

That's an honest attempt to be helpful.

GingerSweetGirl Who else's culpa could it be, but mine? When things go slow, it's because of me. When things go smooth, it's because of me. I'm not disinterested in answering that user, there's just nothing to answer. I've said it dozens of times in the last couple of months, the work on this update was going really slow so it took longer to make. That's it. There's no mysterious reason for the slow update that I'm keeping a secret. I hope things will speed up from now on. Will it happen? Only time will tell.

What some are doing is exactly why developers don't finish their games. Don't forget they need to stay motivated to work on this and all that negatism is doing just the opposite. You can't expect every update to be topnotch as long as the overall game is good. Which in Stoper's case is more than that. Don't judge the man by an unfinished project wait for a few more updates and see if it has improved or not. If you have some pointers share them if you don't like the version hope for a better one. And those who are still a fan make your voice heard as well. It will keep things in balance. I am so let me set the example.

stoper Great concept, great storyline interesting plots. You may not be there quite yet but certainly well on your way. The most important is to give each route the same love and attention.

what's this fuss about?
there's no news here or shocking revelations.
to create a game takes time, some updates will not satisfy everyone. sometimes it will feel unsatisfactory for people, and sometimes its really hot and fap friendly.
we also knows how stoper operate. he want perfection in each scene. it takes time. we also know life matters.

if you think you can do better. do it. show your skills and create your own game. Im sure 95% of you will fail miserably.
you will not even know where to start, and if you manage to make something it will be crap, and if you manage to continue, it will takes years before you reach any kind of quality that can be compared to stoper.

I know the deal with stoper. I don't expect anything more or anything less.
he is actually doing what stoper is doing. the only thing that I can do is:

- encourage him to continue what he is doing.
- post any constructive critics that actually helps him.
- boost his morale with what he actually did well, and tell "this I enjoyed and want more of that"

You are right it's not rocket science. Especially to anybody that has ever taken any detailed note of some of extremely questionable "what....why?" comment example posts that would stick in almost every other thread....but have been routinely removed from *this* thread here for years now.

Again, the fact remains this thread is and has easily been one of most heavily censored on this site. With nobody but yourself potentially benefiting from the very very large amount of negative comments towards your game and less then positive summary observations about it's development history that have been purged out. There is obviously a reason for that. Congrats you I guess? TBH though and other then making a quick comment to agree some of the others pointing out the same thing, that I already knew was likely getting deleted by the next time I popped in anyway...I honestly don't really care enough to press on what it could possibly be or what makes you worthy of special treatment.

I just popped in here to download your game for free man. Or more specifically I'm checking in to see if Jessica was getting the non-BF D yet before I'd even personally bother. Looks like I haven't missed much since my last playthrough a few years ago.
You obviously are hanging only in small game threads.
Because otherwise you will know that any of the top 20 (according to views) games is way more censored.
Some of the games have more than 1000 pages removed.Even more than 2000.

I'm enjoying AEA, but ran into a stretch of chapter 2 that is, to me at least, unplayable. Jeremy shows up for an extended scene despite being quite dead in my playthrough, then the game outright crashed if I try to turn the hobo down.

Another game of this type that is particularly good imo is Project Myriam. The main thing I'll give props to PM for is you can approach it from a very wide variety of ways. Myriam can be a total slot, hard-core lesbian, loyal wife (while I actually do like having this option, I can't imagine anyone taking it because her husband is such a POS), and all kinds of variants between.

As for this game, while I certainly do wish the updates would be bigger and more frequent, I'm not running into any bugs and I like the material that is there so I won't complain too much.
Myriam husband was single alpha male npc in that game. When dev destroy husband's storyline, i DROPT that game

The quality of the updates is good but i don't know if it justifies 6 months between the last 3 of them, i would support if it was a bit faster not gonna lie cause the game IS a masterpiece in it's own genre.

Thanks for sharing, but please use the spoiler tag for people who haven't reached that point yet.

The dev has nothing to do with the moderation of this forum. Only moderators and admins can delete comments. Seriously, this is not a rocket science here, I find it hard to believe that you people really can't understand something so profoundly simple.
I would honestly take all this negativity as a backhanded compliment. People are desperate to play more of the game and get frustrated (like children admittedly) that it isn't going as quickly as they'd like. Keep up the great work.
