Absolutely true, but that´s what happens when you release 1 update per year, and give no previews, or anything about what you are actually doing on the game. So there is nothing to talk about the game in the comments, the last update was so long ago that there is no point talking about it, and there is nothing new worth talking about. No matter all that, people (including me) still like the game so they still visit the thread and sometimes comment, mostly talking shit about stoper, but it is kind of hard not to.

He is sharing his progress with us, there is just nothing.... He will start in summer for 2 weeks and tada new update.... took 2 weeks, but you waited one year. But as a pirate I'm ok with this, I'll invite him (stopper) and his best pal (The CONNER) to a beer and lough about, how to stretch 6 month over a decade.

Sure, but his progress sharing is always the same, and has been the same for the last 3 years or so. All of us who follow this thread for a longer time know that his progress update is copy/paste of the previous one. I am a pirate too and am willing to wait, there are many games out there (not many of the same level though).
I think i am with someone who said that now that has passed 5-6 months since last update he will start working on the new one. There is just no chance that it takes him 1 year to make an update that takes 15-20 min to finish, if he was working on it full time, or at least half of that.
He is doing other work for sure, and then sometimes when he feels like it (not that often), works on JOHN.
Ok that is enough from me now, will be back when there are some actual news, and next update will be probably out in a 5-6 months time.

Back in the days, when the releases were decent he was working like on 4-5 different projects in parallel. He was helping his friend, doing other stuff with Jess like JOAC etc plus as all developers he has health issues like 30% of the time plus I remember someone told me that he doesn't spend 100% time on John he has a normal job.

There's a forced scene in the beginning of the game with the boyfriend. Besides that you generally get to pick who you get sexual with.
