Devs do little side projects during render farms when they can't work on the game or to take little breaks to stop them getting burnt out.
I know a lot of devs that abandoned projects because that's all they did and they got bored of it or burnt out of doing the same thing constantly.
In short, they are a good thing if you want the dev to keep going.

That's fine if that helps him. I dont really mind the length of these updates as long as he keeps it consistent with high quality. Just few games that does this and a lot of them already abandoned. This game is the only one that I care about story, every other game is just too generic. I wish he had like 3/4x more patreons so maybe he could have more people on his team pumping more content faster.

Hi, all.
Last week we were joking with the lads on Discord and I made a younger version of Mr. Parker
For the upcoming update, I decided to include both weekend days, instead of just 1 day, as the previous updates. This will make the work longer, but it will look better as a package. And since I know some of you are eager to play it, I'll release a Beta update with the first half, when it's ready. I'll try to finish the Beta by the end of this month, and the full update by the end of April.

Oh man, there are a lot of branching paths and scenes. While i am do like the different situations, it makes the plot hard to follow

why are people complaining? dev said up front it’s an alpha build and it isn’t done yet with more stuff at the end in the month?
his renders and story are super top notch and you can really see extra care goes into the art. i really want to play but rather the rest of the content gets added in (mr parker scene especially!)

The thing is, Heather is not a lesbian. She likes having fun, with Jessica, but also with Conner, or other people. As the game goes on, you can influence how she feels. But for now, sending her home is not her idea of fun.@stoper I was looking at the sheet walkthrough and I was wondering... shouldn't Heather get a +1 if Jessica chose not to have her talk to Conner about eating Jess out? Jessica's basically telling Heather she'd rather have her do it, and that they have their own thing between them.
You get a little more content in the bath scene. And it's not a punishment, you get less scenes on this update, but you'll get more later. If Jessica goes directly to the address, she arrives there a little early. If she has to look for the building, she's a little late, and when she's about to leave the old guy had just arrived. I'll make some changes to the script to clarify that.
No idea why you have those save issues. The guys on Discord did not mention any problems.
