Maybe Jessica comes home for lunch and stops at the newsstand again? I don't think so, he always eats out with his colleagues.
So the only solution is an evening meeting in some club and here there could be a connection with the photo posted in the dev blog which is taken from the game. (it looks like a nightclub, disco, it looks like Jessica is leaning on a lap dancing pole).
Since he's working on the latest event, and has added branches, I might think there will be some variables based on other choices made previously with Parker/Jack/Naomi.
