In the Discord, Stoper said the release would be before next weekend, ideally midweek.
As Walter Victor said, unfortunately not yet.
But it is not yet confirmed that her boyfriend is the vigilante. It was mentioned before that Connor came back from Afghanistan after the vigilante's first strike, so this matter remains unclear for now...

I cannot believe how long the developer is taking to release the next update... He could easily made 3 new games in this time frame. Hollywood will take less time to make the next Avenger movie than the time he is going to take to finish this game. Still I do admit this is a great game and plot...

Depending on Stoper's rig, it could take a whole day to render 1 frame / 1 cg.
Stick that in your pipe and smoke it.

No, nowhere near that slow. The actual rendering takes between 1 and 2 hours, it rarely goes above that.
And then setting up the scene depends on multiple factors. So it can take half an hour, or half a day.

I've said it on other game threads, but it appears I should add it here too: I find it hilarious that the people complaining about the lack of content/sex, infrequency of communication etc seem to be neither devs or patrons.
There are plenty of other games on this forum if you want minimal story and lots of sex scenes. Hell, there's even the resources to make your own! So if you don't like Stoper's work, go do better.
But I do, so I'mma get back down off the soap box and patiently wait for the next update. I'm as excited as the rest of you guys, but I would rather a late but awesome update, than one on time but lacking quality. When it is good and ready, Stoper will let us know.
