Genres divide into sub-genres all the time, and they often overlap. Being disingenuous by dividing the straight content into hard bits while lumping all the lesbian content as one vanilla category is a silly way to disprove the point: the majority of the content here is straight. As in, involves at least one male and one female. Males are the majority of the partners and are involved in a majority of the fetishes. Therefore it is pointless to moan about "too much lesbian content", especially when, in the mind of males complaining, it's all just foreplay (ugh... but I'm not fighting this battle here) and we're still just at day 8.
None of this stuff "works that way in real life". You think an up-and-coming reporter with a degree in journalism is going to diddle some old fart running a corner newspaper stand through his pants? Porn is an awful place to look for verisimilitude. This is an erotic fantasy. Give the story a chance to unfold.
Eve and Rosa are just potential paths for now. You can't "get" them yet. As for Conor, denying him (cheat path) and bringing him in (swing path) bring different sets of encounters.
But the potential lesbian partners are in fact all vanilla, there is no ugly,fat or old one so its not wrong to sum them up in one lesbian category while you cant do that with the straigth scenes. Because not everone who is into straight porn is into the older-younger fetish, just as an example.

Sub-genres are fine and obviously exist but the case with these games is that they are meant to categorize content players like. With lesbian content it's rarely divided into sub-categories because if you don't like lesbians or you're indifferent to it it doesn't matter at all if it's softcore, BDSM with strapons etc. The same thing would go if things were reversed and players just weren't into straight content at all but it's so rare it just doesn't really apply. Old, rapist pervert triggers different emotions than young, romantic partner but when it comes to women whether it's a hot MILF or a young teen it's mostly the same lesbian category. I would say there is too much lesbian content at this point of development - it's not really meaningful cuz it will change with development. If you throw away Connor and teasing majority of significant content is lesbian focused.
It's an erotic novel so ofc we cannot expect real behaviours all the time. Tbh I don't think we can expect such a thing in most types of game really. It's just about feasibility and immersion. Story is really well written and everything makes more or less sense at this point but basically every female seems to be potential lesbian and that's an obvious, porny flaw that bugs me a bit. It's just a matter of taste and completely subjective opinion.
I hope so too. Not really my thing but I can appreciate that if it's done tastefully.
