stoper knows that such minute details are slowing down the progress of the game (tremendously). A more cost effective game designer would cut corners out of necessity, knowing that the average viewer will appreciate an image only for a relative short time until they move on to the next.
I understand that he feels the need to perfect his renders but I would say that pictures of DVD covers, cut in slices, would have done the trick also. I mean you can easily see the doublets after all the trouble he went through. There should be a better balance between the amount of details and the time it takes to create them or at least I wish he would give it a thought.
