I'd suggest that it doesn't matter at all.
If you're not a patron, you're not allowed an opinion(according to some on here).
Yet if you are, the same people say that you should be expressing said opinions on Patreon.
Go figure.

everyone to complain and ask when a "free" game will come out
nobody knows, only the developer.
asking the same thing several times won't make it happen sooner.
if you want more detailed info read instead of asking. or support the dev and ask him directly
everyone can express their opinion and ideas, but always reading the same questions and complaints about the slowness of the updates is boring.
the game comes out when it's ready. end
