The long patches are not even what's annoying me with these devs nowadays, it's that you wait 6 months to 1 year and then the release is absolutely underwhelming, just like his last one was. That's what I consider milking. Same thing happened with AWAM, same thing happened with the Office Wife. It goes from regular long patches, to irregular but still long patches, to long break in between and now medium size patches, to God knows when it's gonna come out and then you get 2 weeks of work at most patches.
His last patch was exactly the same thing and then he said "I'll release the rest soon" and we never saw it. If he was taking a long time in between patches but then delivered it's one thing, but when the patch comes out and he will keep dragging it out like he did last time because he knew the size of the patch was an absolute joke because he has been jerking around and not putting in work, but eventually he will have to put something out. I have a huge feeling it's gonna be underwhelming, again, for the third time and then it can join the other list of his abandoned games.
This is deeply ironic because before becoming a dev he used to give other devs shit about their deadlines but there's no point to continue beating a dead horse. At this point whoever comes in the thread can easily research his work ethic and decide if they should support him or not, which they shouldn't, but it's their choice and they have been warned plenty so let's stick to the topic and discuss the game, even if the 10 minutes of gameplay that came out 6 months ago after a development time of almost 9 months.

Thanks for making my point? Between 17.07 and 28.08 he released a fix, then he released an actual patch 27.10 and this was 3 months (for one day of gameplay), then he released a short patch for christmas and the next one 6 months later with a "fix" 2 months later, and that was way back in 0.25. We're at 0.55 (because he believes if he goes up in increments of .5 it will seem like he released more content) so sup? What happened to the released dates of the last 6 versions? Did all of them took almost a year for little content?

In fact, let me drop a small fact before you jump on your white horse. The game has been around since early 2018. Between that time, Heaven Studios released a game with 350 hentai scenes with drawn art, an entire shota game with 30+ scenes and 40+ unique drawn CG's, worked on and teased future projects which are probably gonna be more advanced than JOHN before the end of 2023. NLT media released two vastly superior games and working on a third one, even milk jobs like Anna's Exciting Affection released the whole first episode of their game with 5 times the size of JOHN. Karryn's prison didn't even start being developed in 2018 and it's been finished for a year now, so before you start making excuses go check the body of work of your boy for the past 5+ years, then get back @ me.

storywise yes, sexwise no, once a year updates.
hey guys, yeah i know it sucks that Stoper is not working on putting out regular updates, and i enjoy this game alot. but..no point gettin angry about it. just find other games to play. not like there aren't literally hundreds of great games on here. i have so many in my unplayed folder i won't finish them all till long after this game actually gets an update..even if it around christmas time. you get my point? play other games and quit whining about things you have zero control over. or..go outside..
One common thing with NSFW game creators is that more than 80% of the time, if their game is successful and they start generating a lot of money, they either abandon the game or really an update once every few months (AWAM, Summertime Saga, etc). Trust me if a game is not getting an update within 2-3 months atleast and it popular, it's a cashgrab. I'm thinking myself to make a NSFW game as you don't need a good story, you just need some renders of sexy looking stock character and some luck to have it become a popular game

IMHO It also could just be:
1) Lack of inspiration of where to take the game next
2) Maybe the creators don't want to see their main character turn into a fully corrupted cum slave (extreme case ending)
3) The work is not generating the post joy it used to even if there is money in it (creator already well off or has other side hustle generating funds)
4) Creative Boredom in comparison to Adult CG Artists that generate one offs or small batch art/animation series daily/weekly/monthly.

If there is a lack of creative inspiration (which is totally understandable), why not reach out to the Patreon or F95 community and see what people want to see? Polling or suggestions could be a great way to get ideas flowing, and as a source of inspiration to keep going

Played this for the first time so I guess I'm part of the blue balled squad now. A shame really with this game's development cycle since Jess is hot as hell and the renders are good. I believe she's an OC yeah? or I'm just wrong, I can't seem to remember seeing her model on other games.

Although the apparent majority of gamers say they clearly prefer games with a male protagonist, a good portion of the most popular and beloved games have a female protagonist (AEA, LOTV, AWAM, FB, JOHN, ...) so I think the first reason why people don't let this game go is because it has this tag that is increasingly hard to find, especially with solid stories and well-crafted renders.
The second reason I think a lot of people stay despite the pace of production is obviously the quality of the renders. It has already been said a thousand times, but JOHN is probably one of the games with the absolute best quality when it comes to visuals, the same goes for the animations.
Third reason, and this is a purely personal assumption, Stoper is a very clever developer and has constructed a range of possible scenarios that tickle the imagination. Just think of Jess on the beach, personally a scene of her sunbathing completely naked on the beach in the midst of people would blow my mind. The scenes with Parker, among the most appreciated, the intern nerd at work and the scene in the bathroom with the little boy. There is the basis for many scenes that if developed could take the game to the podium.
For all the supporters of the mantra 'quality takes time', it is true. But it is also true that over the years the time gap between the various updates has grown larger and larger, and the 'excuses' for delays more and more frequent and improbable. Maybe just be honest and say "Hey! after years of work I'm starting to lose momentum so game development will slow down" or something like that.
Ultimately, despite everything, I will be waiting for the next update, hoping to see some new renders from time to time and without renewing my Patreon membership.

One would think that a developer should let his supporters know if any of these points were the case. Just out of decency, having a working moral compass, or simply not being an asshole towards those paying money for nothing on end.
What he does in reality though, is keep mentioning how much fun he has creating his scenes. So pretty much all of the above falls flat.
Does this theory come from the same mind who claimed how stoper's never said that this project pays the bills and how he'd have to look for something else in the case of it not working out anymore? Because that was already proven wrong with statements from stoper which you seemed to just ignore, so I'm assuming it's more of the same kinda nonsense:

You seem to be mistaken stoper with a pornstar who's been scarred for life due to all the nasty shit they had to endure during their decade long career or something.
