I don't think they are a waste of time. Although if one was to focus on making a game with animations, I would suggest building the whole project in Blender instead of back and forth between Daz3d and Blender. Animations are fun and give energy to the story.Let's be honest: animations are a waste of development time in all the VNs. No developer is skilled enough to justify animations, everyone just uses DAZ and the results are really "meh" compared to good animation done by skilled people dedicated only to that, using professional software like Blender or Maya. I would be fine with this "meh" level of animations if they were not so much time consuming for developers, as the contribution to the story is so tiny and forgettable. The problem is that there is a faction of annoying complainers when animations are missing. They don't give a fuck about quality but they want to see things moving. They miss porn videos. So we have a slow producer like Stoper that it notoriously prone to constant second thoughts, wasting time (and 1/3 of the total renderings) to make animations. Animations of a few second loops, and that's the same standard for everyone, even for stakanovist DrPinkCake and his massive PCs setup + massive budget.
But try to avoid animation, you'll get so many complains!
I think some people complain about lack of animations in books too.

Windows 10 or 11 I suppose. Because if you're on Windows 7 there could be problems with the latest renpy (I think). Open the error log, it should give you some information. I don't know what to tell you because everyone is playing it. I have not downloaded the game myself I'm waiting for the fixed release (should be posted very soon).
I could say: try to boot with a Linux live distro and try to run it (the .sh file), if it fails only on Windows something went wrong, maybe your antivirus quarantined some files. If it fails on Linux too, something got wrong in the download.

I thought when folks having access to patreon, are getting access to every version and yet there is always only pc available from the get go here....fck pity

I mean you can make it yourself in a minute or two from the Win/Linux version with the SDK (or play it directly from the SDK), after all that is how I make every single Mac compressed version. No one has ever wondered how I have Mac compressed for games when there is no updated Mac or no Mac version at all provided by the dev?Still no Mac version

You have to go to preferences https://f95zone.to/account/preferences and in search options mark 'most recent'. Then search 'compressed' in the search box of the thread.

I found out today that I can run the Windows version through Steam and proton as a non Steam game today. I know that MacOS has Proton and perhaps it works with Steam there as well. For some reason it was crashing in Windows for me. It must not have liked the Nvidia driver I was using, Hyper-V that I had installed, or something else.

If you are using Hyper-V must mean you are running it in a Virtual Machine.
With the Ren'Py SDK you can build whatever platform you need and can also play the game directly from the SDK as well.

Honestly if you are that scared or concerned, you shouldn't even download it...or any game here on the site.
The files in the OP have been scanned and are safe.

Kind of odd, I've tested both versions, the uncompressed and my compressed version and they work fine.
What does the log file say? It will generate one where the .exe is, it will say log and if there are errors will be a traceback file.

I Mean so long wait for short update, the sex scenes are beautiful, and the story is nice, but it just take too damn long.
I dont mind since i am not paying, but i would consider paying only if i dont have to wait so long for updates. Other games with simular style and renders are having shorter uptades with more content than this for instance.
Love the slow mayor coruption. And the hints for other slutty stuff and threesomes with other couples. I guess around 5-10 years from now we would have such nice gangbang and hard fcking 5 times a day with jess in the updates.
*still not worse milking than wife and mother game
