Hi, everyone.
Not having a great November here, with my health issues coming and going. I'm powering through as much as I can, but the whole situation is total mood killer and doesn't help my creativity flow at all. In a couple of weeks I'll let you know if I can manage to release the update in December as I was hoping.
Still managed to make progress with the update. And I took a day to update Mayor Wilson's character model. The original model wasn't bad, but the textures weren't great. The new one looks much better. I tried to make him look similar, but didn't try too hard, seeing that I would have to re-render the old scenes as the time goes anyway. For now it will be a little disjointed, with the new scene from the upcoming update using the new model, and the old scenes staying as they are. Let me know what you think.

Yeah being in his warm and cozy room can be very difficult. Meanwhile the rest of us that wake at 5 am to go to work while the temp outside is below zero or some like me who work night shifts too. We have it easy, poor stoper on the other hand.

On a side note i have a coworker who is lazy like stoper and every couple of weeks goes on a sick leave for a week or 2 because he does not feel good. He did the same last week and the bosses are getting sick of it and he was called for a talk with the director. Stoper is his own boss so there is noone to tell him that this is no way to treat your job

It's not his job though, it's his hobby he's not passionate about anymore. A well paid hobby that is, for the amount of time spent on it.

ye, I'm not going to get into the merits of the illness and say that it's a lie or that he's using it as an excuse. He has every right to stop the project. Maybe he has a serious illness or burnout. The point is, instead of releasing new content, he wants to remake the character's appearance, knowing that this will delay the development of new content. This is disrespectful to his own audience. I don't pay him a cent, but those who do deserve what they get. He takes his audience to shit.

Really? With Jessica he had to remake her as similar as possible to the original. Try that. With the fatso he just took a recent asset (gen 9 I guess) that looked none like the original and move a few sliders to make him fatter.

Is it though? I am a long time follower of the game but i was not aware of that. I know he worked on some other projects but i am not sure that he has a regular job where he works from monday to friday and only works on JOHN in his free time. But i come here maybe once in a week or two so i may have missed it.
