Excellent showing for a first release, I'm hooked. There was a lot of content and while the scenes that I was looking forward to aren't in this version, I can see the seeds already.
I'm loving all the villainess plotting, but really my ideal end is a royal marriage with Dedrick. We barely see him in the opening, but if you pick the "friendly" choice with him, he's so heartfelt that I can't help but imagine she fell for him right there! Or at least, the version of her that I play will feel that way.
Shame you don't see him more in the opening, so for now I've got my save set up such that a dom Duvessa is preparing the seeds such that Dallan will remarry... her! After all, there was a brief discussion about his marriage prospects, and who else would be a more perfect match than his own daughter?
As you can see, I have specific tastes, and since I absolutely love V's character design, I'm 100% smitten with all of this.

Yeah, it should be very possible. Maybe I'll make a guide to the trial if there's enough interest. How did you deal with the Calder situation?

I really love the nobility cloak and dagger politics premise of this game and the options provided. Was also really surprised how much content the initial release had!
Especially love the main character, nice and rare to have a ruthless lady bending others to her will. Well I know there is two paths but it just feels natural from the opening for her to be this way. Full of ambition and the adrenaline of danger.
I assume there is some sort of magic or otherworldly forces at play in this setting also? As you have that Grim Reaper guy and the mysterious fog. Unless the fog was just a coincidence lol.

I definitely plan to leave some stuff deliberately ambiguous and appeal to the sense of the unknown, but this is not a fantasy story. The fact that it is medieval but not set in the real world, meaning it is neither historical fiction or fantasy, has made me ponder what genre it even is.
I hope that it is possible to completely avoid maledom (both now and in the future). (Is it possible?)

When I first saw her appearance I thought it was going to be revealed later she was actually some dormant vampire until I saw her family lol. But I do certainly like the more grounded nature of the premise. Or just subtle/ambiguous nature of the unknown as you said!Thank you!

Yes and yes. Duvessa's relationship with Erika is the only one that will occur canonically, and all those scenes will still be skippable. Every other amorous encounter is avoidable.

I've played up to the second sex scene so far, which was the blowjob
FMC's personality: bitch + Very conservative/resistant to sexual acts + high social status === literally amazing
I just didn't like the first sex scene, the lesbian one, as the art quality low, but the second sex scene was very good
So far, the writing, dialogue, and story have been very good
The fact that the focus is on relationships and the story rather than sexual content is excellent because it makes the sex scenes very hot
When a game is just full of one sex scene after another, the sex scenes quickly become tiresome/pornhub

Thank you! The goal is absolutely to be story-driven first and foremost. My philosophy about sex scenes being way hotter if you care about the story and characters enough to be moved by them doing taboo acts is 300% the driving force behind this game.
I wouldn't say Duvessa is conservative or resistant to sex so much as she has a massive ego and is selective about who gets the privilege of being with her/views it as a priceless commodity.

You are absolutely right, I didn't pay enough attention when writing
The core of it is "resistance". Now, this resistance can stem from moral values and principles, being conservative about sexual acts, or from ego, pride, and so on
Duvessa Devereux embodies this personality excellently
So I would still be able to do lesbian run even if I make duv sub. I like seeing lesdom content if it allows.
