What difference does the RenPy version make? Does it cause issues and it doesn't run on old machines?
Yes, exactly you think right. They remove ability to run on old machines on newest version.
From what I saw version 8.x runs only on x64 while version 7.x can run both x64 and x32 Win and Linux.
Moreover renpy-7.3.5 is latest that can run on WinXP-like machines when newer require at least Vista.
Out of curiosity, may I ask why do you need to keep running a 32-bit OS? I was under the impression that any hardware that is still

Mainly the CPU is either 64 bit or 32, if CPU is 32 bit, then 32 bit os is needed. if 64 bit then could actually run either OS, but why would you run 32 bit on 64 bit CPU.
Maybe some businesses might because they have custom made software for there business, but that is only reason I can thing of.
It is possible you got 32 bit OS installed at time of purchase, and actually have a 64 bit cpu too, I guess.

I know I did one fast that had penis, but also did one fast transform that had Twat! But it just stopped at a park bench, last time I played the game, have not tried it with new version yet.
