One is organic art, another synthetic art (which currently still needs organic art).
Organic art is harder to create because it takes time to learn and master.
Synthetic requires only correct prompt writing and good model, and up you go.
This is first reason why people hate AI -
People who use it, tend to call themselves Artist or try go above them. But in reality they won't do shit themselves. When real one, even if they worked 95% of their time in digital art, could create something decent on simple paper, without their common "tools". They still have skills and knowledge for that.
Second is amount of such content everywhere.
Because of how low level entrance for AI is, a whole ass boom of AI-accounts happened on patreon and other sites.
Each creates hundred, thousands of arts - SIMILAR arts.
And why are they similar?
The whole scene looks fake, it always in this shiny half anime theme, although AI got better it still has flaws where things merging with something they not supposed to merge, or in such position that even new artist would never do, letters are still fucked up, and from time to time you can even see what organic art was sourced, through AI's attempts to mimic it's watermark.
Or that type of arts that feel off or in terms of porn arts: instead of arousing, its fucking creeping you out due to uncanny valley.
Third is more deep, the Idea that people themselves are replaceable.
Instead of waiting for organic art from real artist, some guy could just ask UnstableFaK-U-Vision to generate work in same style as that artist. And that's kinda it...
And soon AI will become so advanced and common you won't be able to identify real work from synthetic.
It will replace Organic artists - and that thought alone is enough to anger decent chunk of people.
It's like with books, you have digital books, but some people WILL always prefer real one because of how it feels and stuff.
Btw saying that AI is merely a tool is also wrong, at least in my opinion.
Tool is something that helps YOU to create something, not SOMETHING that creates stuff for you.
If I ask artist to draw me a cat - are they my tool?
For me it's a difficult mechanism that checks what it has, which parts would work best with that one, just to assemble and complete your: "Futa gay femboy sucking on horse cock in furry suit while shitting itself on public" - request.
Reason why people hate AI number 4: Freaks have "tools" to create whatever they want, and what real artist refused to make.
Last one, probably, is that AI is part of progress that no one can stop, because it already here.
And the most scary part is that it progressing faster than people can adapt to it.
Amount of scums is fucking horrendous, but with sora2 even advanced people can't fully catch what is fake or not.
So to conclude all this talk: People are simply not prepared to AI and chaos it can bring. It came way too fast.
Back then you had to double check your sources, now you will need to triple check or hire a whole ass investigation team.
Because AI stuff is already took over the internet:
You can't trust to all news
You can't trust to all sources
You can't even trust to all comments because they also can be AI generated.
