Make sure you are downloading the windows or mac version according to your device. Also check for updates on your pc. It shouldn't have any complex requirements.
I respect joker for his mods as they are easy to use, but if you don't wanna wait, you also have the option to use 0x52's Universal Renpy Mod. Just drop the .rpa on the game folder and you are gtg.

It is out but we have to wait for someone that pay for the patreon to share it. Can take hours, days or week, no one knows.
