Hey guys, played it, went through pretty much all of the content in the game thought a few sessions (yep, all of it, including reloads to see options) and here's my feedback.
Overall impression is quite good, game has a nice vibe to it thanks to the voice acting and writing. I liked it.
However, I'm mostly here to list downsides and critique, which by no means meant to discourage people from playing it or supporting on patreon. For me personally, this game is on the watchlist.
Gotta keep in mind that this game doesnt get a ridiculous amount of funding per month and expectations should be tame.
A few words about optimization. I've played at 2k, didnt touch any settings, so it was at max I believe. For the most part it works fine, however in some spots my workstation gets a slave collar on the neck and kneels at 15 fps. I had a ton more stable experience in Cyberpunk2077 at launch with RTX on. Altho gotta admit I didnt use DLSS feature here.
I think you guys definitely need to go thought with profiler in the problem areas and look for issues.
About level design. Map is not too big, but I wanna focus just on the city for now. It is too big. I think it was not the greatest idea to have one main road that goes up and thats it, you needed some kind of a loop that wraps around, makes it easier to explore and gives an illusion of choice plus adds an illusion of an actual planning. I didn't like a lot of empty houses, just makes whole area artificially inflated. I get it, there's plans for it all (hopefully), but for now all of the content is focused around a tiny spot in the city, rest is a dead space.
Sex mechanic and sex cutscenes. Cutscenes are super cool in my opinion. Only suggestion would be to rework animation a bit in some places to make it more alive and make better transitions. And add ability to replay some of it, paired with some random stuff. For example, encounter with the guard, until you deny him, he'd demand sex from you for entrance until you do.
About the minigame, it is lacking, stamina drains too fast, transitions are weak and overall it is not great. I'm sure you're working on it and plan to expand it, but as it stands right now, cutscenes win big time in comparison. If it was up to me, I'd ditch minigame entirely and integrated it more with cutscenes to spice them up and give more variety to encounters.
Also, please disable quest hinting dialogue of nearby npc's during your own dialogue or minigame, this is hella annoying. I'm talking about brothel quest with ladies that lost their money. I'd add a visual sound location que to the vampire vision like the in the Witcher 3 just so it would be easier to find them so they shut up, spent like 5 minutes running around the damn place.
With that said, overall blueprint of the game is solid and it is nice seeing something like this being developed. Perhaps one day I'll grab it on steam when it comes out.
