After a sex scene it brings me to the gallery and I have to reload a previous save. How am I supposed to get the money from the tournament when after I beat the last fight it puts me in a sex scene straight away?

after the sex scene you'll be outside near the time machine and next to the entrance is a briefcase with a 'z' on it

It should, but it doesn't. Just get immediately thrown into the gallery with no way out except to exit and reload from save, which is before battling Ranfan.

go behind it to where the contestants are waiting and talk to to each of them and battle each one till ranma is last

The only way for me was to download the gallery save on the first page. This should help you get out of the loop.
