Getting back into the game and i got some questions! does this have all the Expansion data? can I move the game to a flash drive because I see in the install instructions is says not to remove from the C drive. i'll edit this later when I have more questions. Thank you anyone who helps me!

I have it downloaded on an external hard drive and it works fine so it shouldn't be an issue putting it on a flash drive.

the bigger issue for me personally was the resolution size for the game makes the full screen look small if you use newer monitors theirs a guide to fixing this a few pages back if you run in to the problem.
you will also likely need to change your system location to Japanese or use emulator to run the game.

personally i use lossless scaling on steam. it's quite expensive at 7$, but completely worth it for games like this and others like those wack rpgm games that can't change resolutions. basically makes the game borderless window.

Try magpie from github, it's free and works similarly like lossless scaling. i'm using magpie on 1440p monitor

Does anyone know how to access the config menu for the game? For some reason the game won't go full screen anymore, and I haven't had a windows update or anything. Even when its in 'full screen' the sides have these black bars that won't go away

the reason for the black bars on the side is because the game is not designed/optimized for modern monitors you can fix the issue by modifying the SYS4REG you can find a guide to do this hear.

I am using Locale Emulator, but it should work for my version of Windows 10. It's my second playthrough and I've had no issues outside of using the SpoilerAL a few times. Any help with this issue would be appreciated!

I searched on the internet and they say the best way is to use Serawi skill but it's kinda bs because I've tried many times using her skills (both Leaf and Short Bow) and she can only deal 1-2 damages each because of Rocktoise's projectiles shield.

Haven't played for a long time, but I remember at least 3 methods. The earliest one is the hardest... use long range projectiles, and other attacks that deal 1-3 damage per hit. Your goal is to manage to keep your doods alive, while getting Rocktie dead before the max turn limit. Doable, though hardest. Aht works too, she's slow and weak-hitting, but sturdy.

Second method is wind magic once it starts hitting through projectile defense for 10-30+. Don't remember how late you reach that point. Not sure, but maybe bowling ball weapon for your undine can work well too (works even better on dragons).

Third method is the easiest - once Yuela gets badass enough she goes through Rockties like hot knife through butter. There's a weapon with instadeath chances too (and a similar skill that Yuela can learn).

Any ideas on how to make the game detect my generic 360 controller? It works fine for every other games, except that one.

I suggest to just move forward with the game, and revisit Rochtoises later for a way faster and less tedious and nerve-wracking farm. They are unlimited in quantity, and you lose little in not getting their drops early.

More importantly, you'll get specialised drop increasing accessories later. Beating a unit with them on is as good as beating ~2-5 instances of the same unit. Turboes the drop farm.

I remember playing it like 10 years ago, but don't go far sadly.

Anyway, if I remember correctly, there is some dlc/expansion with this game, so...

Question! Is this the complete version? Before playing I will dive on some research about tips and the order in which route playing (again, if I remember correctly, there is one route who was largely "weak" when compared to the other 2, so I prefer to begin with this one.)

Would hate to spend time searching for info and launching the game to see he is missing some expansion/dlc

It is complete, there is no DLC for Kamidori Alchemy Meister, you might be thinking of other Alchemy Meister games.
There is a partial decensor patch that patches things a bit.
