Let me help you since you wrote all that delete savedata folder then change the game exe's name to kansen 2 start with applocale you are welcome
(Pin this so everyone can play mods)

I have a similar problem but when I delete the savedata folder and rename the game when I run it, it recreates the savedata file and the problem persists.

Does this game have malware? I used the Megalink btw I think someone should double check

??? = Local Issue. Make sure you extracted the game with Japanese Locale.

All you need to do is run patch.bat.

can you give me a link to the japanese locale? i cant find it and im pretty lost around the link mazes
