Warning, TROJAN.

Sound like someone added something unwanted to the files, huh.
Wow, my antivirus didn’t find anything in them. What did you check with? Could this be due to a crack?
If there really is a virus, then I apologize.

In principle, if you want, I can upload another version to pixeldrain (from mega). They are slightly different.

So I'm having some trouble getting this to run. I mount the disc, and I've tried running the specific installer for the first game, the one mentioned in this thread, or going into the general setup program and launching the installer through there. I ran both using Locale Emulator set to Japanese Admin. I had to edit the install location name because I got a message about unsupported characters/symbols. Once it successfully installed, I went to the folder the game is in, leaving the disc mounted just in case, and ran it using Japanese Admin. However, the game doesn't even seem to open. Like, at all. There's no indication that it even started. No windows or anything.
Try running with locale. If it doesn't help, then install without locale. Etc. various combinations.

ok i got it to start but now i have the problem that as soon as i press new game go in sence replay or anything like that i get a crash any help with that ? but i'm exicet to play kansen finally
Mind sharing how you got it to start? I seem to be having the same issue where after installing it, it just won't start.

You mean Locale Emulator? I've tried the following:

1. Installing without Locale Emulator. Text was a jumble of symbols, but not Japanese or English, was able to install it without editing the file path. But end result was the game not starting.

2. Installing with Locale Emulator, but not Admin. Text was the same as without, just a jumble of numbers, symbols, and other characters. But it didn't ask me to change anything and I was able to install it without issue. Game still didn't run.

3. Installing with Locale Emulator and Admin. Text was displayed clearly as a mix of Japanese and English, however it would not allow me to install it without editing the file path as it designated one or two Japanese characters as symbols and thus not usable as part of a folder name. After removing them, game installed without issue. But still won't run.

Only thing I haven't tried is changing my computers locale itself rather than using Locale Emulator. I've never had to do that before. A part of me wonders if editing the folder name is what's causing the issue, but not sure. I've also noticed, that if I restart the installer, the folder names change. Sometimes there are Japanese characters, sometimes there's English letters or symbols replacing those characters. And then sometimes there are symbols that correspond to nothing on my keyboard. I have no idea why that happens.

Well, no, you don't need to edit any names. To be honest, it's strange, as if the emulator is not working correctly.
But okay. This question is, did you try to run the game itself through an emulator after installation?
If so, then the only thing that really comes to my mind is changing the system locale to Japanese.
Otherwise, everything worked for me right away, without problems, just through vanilla

So this is exactly what I needed to do. After exhausting all other options, I changed my system locale to Japanese. Just double clicked on the installer, it ran without needing admin and the characters displayed correctly. It didn't need me to change anything. It installed without issue. And I just double-clicked on the EXE and it ran. The only problem I ran into is trying to play it in fullscreen, fullscreen doesn't seem to work, I get a config error. Otherwise however, it runs perfectly fine. Now, if I change back to English system locale, it stops working. So to play it I guess it needs to stay in JP locale. Bit annoying, but that's fine. All 7 games work this way. Thanks for your help!

Changing my system locale also solved another problem. I was trying to get Cross Days to work and having a similar issue. Installing it while under JP system locale did the trick, and that one works even if I swap back to English.

So to any future players of Kansen having issues with installing and playing, change the actual system locale to Japanese for both the install and to play.

I won't say in particular as I worry someone might use this information to find a workaround for their Trojan.

Yes, I would appreciate that.

Quick Question, are these files translated already or are they still in Japanese?

Everything is in Japanese. As far as I know, no one has translated the series. But the text is perfectly intercepted.

Yeah I don't know of any translations either, but part of the reason I was trying to get it to work is because I plan to commission a GPT3.5 Turbo translation from DazedAnon. It's better than no translation and considerably more understandable than many other MTL programs. If they're able to decrypt and translate it that is.

And yet, if someone knows games similar to this, I beg you to advise. Of the similar, I met only Meikoku Gakuen, there is also a sex virus, only magical and a slightly different concept.
from where did you get it?
