I know. I basically said the same thing, only much shorter.
It's a pity since for me personally I don't care much about gender if it's heavy D/s like shown in-game. I mean whip a ass, male or female doesn't change anything about the interaction.
You do get some view in the later part of the story though, like Zach & Amy contest scene. Maybe with the female pod balancing things, more of the male pod can be seen. Also most early scenes MC was just building up his rank anyway, & now he is in management position maybe?
Anyway, I understood the dev (& your) reasoning, which is why I felt it was a pity, not that it didn't make sense. I also felt kinda weird the pod just disappeared, but a lot of the sub path also seems to be solo like that ¯\_ (ツ)_/¯
Tl;dr:
Would I have liked to see more of the pod in the Dom route? Yeah, sure. Was I unware of the points you pointed out? No. Even my 1st post here I asked about this issue because I expected it already.
Sorry to have made you write so much. I basically agree with the points logically & dev probably does too, which is why gender lines are maintained even in the non-sexual aspects of power & control dominance shown in game. ¯\_ (ツ)_/¯
Edit: I also wasn't specifically talking about male-on-male scenes, or even anything sexual. Just more involvement of the known characters. Like the branding scene, or the Zach & Amy scene. More scenes about the pod, highlighting the difference in treatment between MC & them would've been nice too. (Particularly would've liked to see the chastity chage fitting, in the same process as the branding scene)
But in extension to your points, many ppl playing Dom route might dislike male-sub scenes in general even if it's female-on-male. The dev notes talking about "surrounded by Femdom even in Dom route" made me question if ppl complained about seeing male pod being dominated scenes(like branding scene) on dom route ¯\_ (ツ)_/¯
With the Zach & Amy scene, & the MC getting more power, maybe we will get to see more of the male pod later on, especially with the female pod balancing things out. Maybe MC even gets some power over them (like in the Zach scene. Deciding the punishment is not exactly sexual, but definitely a part of power-play D/s)

You're right, it happens too. I don't know the percentage, but there are definitely players like that, and I'm one of them. However, for me the merits of this game definitely outweigh the negatives of having to contemplate background femdom with minor characters or even conventionally major ones like Seth (Olivia's "brother"). I mean, I can put up with it, because everything else really appeals to me. (Intrigue, a twisted and interesting plot, well-written characters and fairly deep dialogues).

Personal preference aside, I find settings where one gender domintes the other stupid. This game is definitely more realistic as the femdom is artificially built up, while men can still hold power (Alexander Karsson being a huge example).
Also I don't get empathising with every male in the story, but I like reverse-NTR, so maybe I'm the one coloring all males in a vindictive shade
Which is why I think showing that would be nice. I like the branding scene cause it just showed that. A similar chastity cage scene would've been nice, keeping the pod setting intact while outlining the differences between the ranks without interfering with the MC plot route.
It's still there, like the branding scene, or the Elena fireplace scene(where she points out the human furniture, outlining the difference on status), etc. And I guess it makes sense that the earlier episodes the MC was still gaining ranks. With the Zach & Amy scene as the start, I hope we get to see more of the pod in the dom route... (As bugs ofc

)I don't particularly like femdom either, as I don't play sub MC or female MC, but as long as it is not done to the MC himself, I don't really care. So easier for me to like the game.
Also, I didn't play the sub route either. But I look over every game's code to assess the structure, so I know it somewhat.
(Structure is okay, but you can see this is a 1st game in the implementation of variables & conditionals)
