It really is strange how the women are so powerful in the karlsson company yet they all bend to Alexander's will easily. One would figure there would be a claudia situation in store for alexander but they're even respecting his wishes from the grave

That's kinda one of the main points towards gender not being relevant. Phoebe won vs her husband, therefore the situation happened.
No one could win against Alexander, he built the company to the top & had total control. Even after his death, he has chess pieces & safeguards in place to enforce his will. You can see Julliette try to work around it, but fail.

This was possible cause this was before the story - like how most harem mc dads are great, but dead.
Phoebe won cause now the 'real man' mc is the only one allowed (like any husband in a harem game is likely to be a cuck)

With the femdom leanings you will see a
lot of powerful women in the story, but Alexander was also cunning enough to set-up his will in a way that used things like the division between his daughters & their different desires to make sure his plan succeeds, atleast to a certain extent.

Not to mention multiple forces like Callista, the dekoks, etc are involved in this. It's a great chess game we know neither the reason or purpose of...

Edit: Not to mention they got their power from Alexander. Alexander built his empire from the ground, while the current women only inherited his power/empire & are fighting over it.

Ironically in this update we do get a femdom scene not involving Kane with Kiyomi and Seth and I'm annoyed by that as well. Can't win.

Well, for me it

a) paints Olivia as at best callously indifferent to her brother no matter what choice you made regarding him previously (there's a small dialogue variation to account for it that doesn't amount to anything much), being another example of how this supposed player character is really outside the player's control.​

b) makes Kiyomi come across as an utter hypocrite, which doesn't bother me as I've no particular stake in her character.​

c) portrays Seth as entirely meek and passive, again regardless of how you may have chosen to play him in the past.​

The actual femdom parts of it are very mild, it's just some facesitting and forced body worship. But it does a number on the characterization of two of the three player characters, Olivia in particular.

But again it's just one of those things where I disagree with a creator choice in the game, I don't expect anything to change to placate me.

Probably a little more than padding on the sub route, as Kane's response does adjust a score that may play into how Olivia treats him further on. But other than that, yeah.

Who knows, it might become a reality in the end if the sub route is played like that.

OMG TWINZIES! Ahem. Yeah, you're far from alone in that, it's come up repeatedly in the past: Playing Kane as dom skips the vast majority of Olivia's domme scenes, even some that don't involve him at all. It's a pity, but that seems to be how the dev wants to do it.
At one point she mentioned wanting to go back and adjust some of that, but it seems unlikely to ever happen, now that this part of the game is pretty well tied up.

Also going through the code I noticed the sub path has the same crystal mining test as the girls. It's be nice to see more of the content from the sub path. I kinda wish there was a option to follow olivia training Jake+Zach in the dom path. I like the scenes there, but only if MC is not on the receiving end...
But I get that most dom path players don't like femdom even if it's on other males, so probably not a concern for the dev.
Sucks to be in a niche where I don't mind the genders as long is the MC is not the one being dommed.

I would love to help olivia in training pod 4 as a k6-k9 MC. One of the best scenes for me was the branding scene since it highlighted the inequality of the situation.
Sadly we miss a lot of the Olivia scenes on the dom path.
Let's hope Season 2 onwards we can see more MC involvement with olivia on dom path *fingers crossed*
(Gameshow should be a nice opportunity for MC olivia to collaborate)

To be fair, in terms of point A) Olivia really has no choice in how Seth is treated. As far as she knows he's being treated just fine and b) is just a kyomi kink, not the worst thing given that shes not particualarly hurting him, but I can definitely see c) even if he doesnt really have a choice at that point.

Seth certainly has a part to play in the gambit, but I'm not sure that he's fully a k-ranked part of the general program. Remember that he was considered terminally ill just a few days ago.

Sub players may know better, as there are some scenes with Seth, Kane, and Olivia on the sub track that aren't mirrored on the dom side of things.

Also seems I was kinda right in my very early theory Seth might be a counterpoint male to a sub mc.
Wonder if he gets 'help' on the dom path cause the situation was the reverse in the KiyomiFlower scene

Just skimmed through the script for that scene, and it also establishes the setup for Seth waking up in the cage in Kiyomi's room: Olivia gives him away as a reward for Kiyomi's services ("good") or for winning the dildo race ("evil"), but on the strict condition that he sleeps in the cage in either case.

There's no equivalent setup on the dom path as neither version of the scene happens there, so it just comes out of the blue.

Wish the Dom path would be better thought out. Either show the whole Kiyomi-Seth story, or start from arrival on Island 4. That out-of-context scene feels weird.

We are getting less & less control over Olivia & Seth in the dom path as the chapters increase. Hope we get more opportunities to customise them.
I'd love to setup MC Dom, Olivia switch(sub to MC & dom to others) & seth sub(enjoying serving under kind mistress, not suffering under cruel one).

MC's father is also known. (think you get more info on subpath, but even on dom path it's pointing to Cynthia DeKocks brother)
Haven't seen any information on Seth, but it would not surprise me if he is the real son of Alexander Karlson, but from a low status slave and because of his condition never revealed as such. (I could even see the mother hiding him from Alexander)
That's just pure speculation of course, but Callista must have had a reason to take care of him too and hiding a male child of Alexander from him and the world seems a reason good enough, even if it's just to ensure "the Gambit" will happen...

Maybe a Chance for Astrid (Veronica real Sister) to heal? Share the same illness , when Astrid ist the missing board menber and every Karlsson sister must have the same Cance to win, or all on the Board must be United to declare a Winner of the Gambit? it is also mentioned he could be a backup plan if Kane fails, but i don't think so.
Gambit Queen mention all three Kane, Olivia and Seth are needed to win.

I assume callista has to be his mother since the kids would definitely see her be pregnant. I imagine his father is likely a civilian. His biggest role in the gambit has probably already happened. I believe Callista gave up Kane in exchange for the karlssons healing Seth. Could also be a kane backup if Kane is killed but thats about it methinks

We see Cole pick the name for Kane, so we assume that Cole is the biological father ... what if Cole is just the father in mind and Calista instead was impregnated with enhanced genetical materials as part of a secret genetics program to save humanity?

Seth seems to be important for research to find a cure for his disease, so it is strange that the Karlson Group just watched him over the years and did not start tests with him earlier? It is also strange how carelessly he is treated by some of the girls ... loosing Seth as a unique part of the research would be bad for the project, so why risking to loose him just to have some fun?
