If you are referring to the actual data saves that Ch.8 Pt1 reads then there is no easy/simple way (not without losing all your saves/info).

Stan above linked a previous post of mine. You can overwrite them but Ch.8 Pt1 only reads the first 8 save slots from the previous Ch.7 folder, so you will need to manually re-save your saves into different slots and load/re-save any extra back into slots 1-8 or completely pull them out of the AppDate and Game folder so you do not lose them and then load your saves 9+ to whatever into the first 8 slots in order for Ch.8 Pt1 to read them. When starting a new game (Ch.8 Pt1) it will find them.

A little convulated yes and it's a good import system in all fairness, if you only have a few saves. If like myself and some others, you have 20+ then it's a bit of a pain I agree. Also important when naming your final Ch.7 saves on the final data save screen, to name them something logical so you know exactly what they are, to avoid any confusion when importing.


For ref, this is not good advice unless you have hidden folders showing. It's also far too convulated.

For anyone new, just click search icon on windows taskbar and type %appdata% and press enter. Takes you right to 'Roaming' folder where the Ren'Py folder is located which contains all your saves (regardless of whether or not you have the VN anymore)

Also good practice to regularly go through this folder and delete out any save folders of VN's you no longer play and hope the dev had the intelligence to name the folder the same as the VN title. Worse case scenario (if you have hundreds and can't find it), highlight all the folders (Click and drag to highlight...do not CTR A) and load up the VN, the one you're playing will not be highlighted.

Should be in the persistant folder in AppData. Whether that draws information from the persistant file in the game save folder (and/or the AppData game folder which is named Test1-1575173365) or vice-versa etc I have no idea, I'm not a coder.

Sancho might be able to help you more with that.

Going back to Juls, I think we've created this uncompromising "I'll die but I won't give up" Juliette in our heads. Yes, she's a murderer and a sociopath, but she's not crazy. She knows exactly what she's doing, and has an instinct for self-preservation...Would she kill herself in the event of a global defeat? It's hard to say. We still know too little about Juliette and Alexander's true relationship (hopefully Tess will lift the veil of that mystery in the future)..but assuming that what MilesEdgeworth has written could be true,

I wish to examine Alexander and his relationship with his daughters more.
Juliette likely was a daddy's girl who wanted to impress him, which would explain her cruelty. She's trying to emulate her father. She gets off on the mental stuff. That scene with the boat survivor was brutal but important from a character's perspective.

her potential ability to adapt to any circumstances that threaten her life...and to adjust to those in control fits very well into this "daddy's girl theory".

She's a steel-eyed sadist who supposedly would "never kneel before a man", but she's already sucked Kane's cock, kneeling obediently before him, and then been fucked by him in various positions...and Kane hasn't even come in full force yet (Z+). So there could be all sorts of things...Tess is still keeping a lot of secrets, and we know next to nothing about what's really behind Juls sadistic sociopath faсade..And whether she is really the person she wants to appear to be. Or if she has a weakness that can be exploited.
