How the hell are you supposed to play this game? Is the objective to lose and get fucked or not? I can't tell because winning all these tedious ass battles don't seem to give any fan service.

While I agree with your statement, but Argentina regional price is less than $3. I think the dev is more than generous to ask $3 for a project they've been working on for 2 years.
It's kinda sad that their description rub you in the wrong way, yet understandable. When I read their game description on their website I know it would drive off some people. However, I think it's not what Rem want. As far as I follow him on discord, SubscribeStar and Patreon, I think he's a rather humble and transpalent dev.

No, rem payed two seperate voice actresses. For the eng and Jpn variations.
I died laughing seeing this on the top sellers literally just below Elden Ring. Honestly deserved, this game has made for a lot of fun even while it was in beta
I'm not sure how Top Sellers tab work on steam. I guess it depends on the region.
I was worried for a bit that Karryn's Prison is not on the top sellers on my steam. However, after I go to the global top sellers. Karryn's Prison is the 4th top selling game below Halo Infinite, GTFO, GTA5, and CSGO, respectively. So I guess Karryn's Prison does not sell a lot in my region.
It's beating Guardians of the Galaxy. It's beating Elden Ring. It's beating Destiny 2. It's top 10 in my region, it's the best selling indie game, and it's definitely the best selling nudity game right now.
is there somewhere i can donate money to them directly instead? don't want it appearing on my steam.
What does the steam game's description mean by "multiple endings"? Is the steam version complete? There's actual endings you can get (cgs, scenes, etc)? Is the updated version here the steam version? So many questions lol.

I feel ya bro. When I play this game on v0.6 (I think) I don't get how the game work at all. I think the game is tedious and boring. So I gave up on the game. However, after I understand the game mechanic. I just can't stop myself from playing it. The game is well-designed and unique. They just didn't do a good job on providing tutorial I think.
Basically, you are not suppose to lose and dive into the sex scene immedietly. You should really play as a warden that try to keep peace and order of the prison. Then the game will gradually corrupt Karryn by itself. After 2-3 runs, you would understand the game mechanics then it's time to make your own strategies from your previous failures.
The game was rushed to completion. Maybe not by the appalling WEG standards, but certainly by normal standards. All those setups with the side job locations and skills that hinted at events that amounted to nothing, last 2 floors are just empty. It's one of the better games for sure, but that's because of work that was put in years ago. It's just been losing steam up to this, in my opinion, uneventful "crawl to finish" release for anyone who's been following the progress. The game could have been so much better than it already is if it kept its early momentum. Promisses of DLC are just promisses and like years away.

I'm getting a "Failed to load: img/statusmenu/statusWindow_Anus_Beads.png" when using the the CCmod on the front page with the latest version of the game as of me writing this post (v1.0.1c). I haven't updated nor played this game in such a long time, so I'm going to safely assume this is because the mod needs to be updated or did I fumble something?
