I'd say game starts to get easier, but its still insultingly disrespectful to a player's time - a fact which is not helped by the dev's self-insert that takes the time to make fun of you, saying the purposefully vague mechanics are intended to screw you into failing over and over. (joke's on them, only failed once).
More to the point - fact that the vast majority of posts prefer to ask how to edit and cheat as opposed to bother with the game's asinine design choices, seems to support this.

Well that would depend on how you want to beat him.
If you mean with regular attacks, hit the non boss lizards first. They have a passive where their stats increase depending on how many lizards are around [1=no buffs, 2 or more = buffs.] The skills and etc would consist of weapon buffs, accessory that boost damage and generally not running out of stamina or will [There is a skill for recharging it.]
If you mean sexually, high stamina and the same skill that recharges will, and learning a few sex attacks so you can try and dictate the dicking. There are accessories with various effects to lower pleasure [I think] so Karryn doesn't orgasm from being looked at funny. And owning more accessories increases your charm, making it easier for inmates to cum. You do not need to equip them all, just having them increases your charm but also increases your corruption.

You can avoid Thugs on the First Floor as long as you want. They only spawn in specific rooms.
Also people looking for cheats doesn't mean anything. The most easiest games people ask for stuff like Gallery etc. It's a Porn Game and for whatever reason, when it comes to those there are more than enough people that actually don't want to play the game in the first place.

for edicts: depends. do u want your karryn to be a slut or a pure warrior? we have both physical and sexual dmg in this game and technically each one has its own ending. I suggest searching the thread for "build", "slut", "pure" or "dex". u get a lot of recommendations. the options are quite diverse.
just DON'T BUY CONTROL EDICTS.
for daily routine: try to skip the bar fight. explore the rest of the first floor, gain xp and u slowly lvl up. keep an eye on order and control (u should keep order above zero or it's gg). when u are ready, defeat the boss, rinse and repeat for other floors.
BUT if u want to make her a slut, losing ON PURPOSE could be a very good early game strategy. in this case u can change the settings to get passives even faster. let enemies fuck her over and over until u get the sexual attack (kiss, handjob, blowjob, etc).
