You're the one making a big deal out of getting the correct answer to your question, sorry that it's just such a "no shit sherlock thing" for you that you had to ask your question about it even if you seemed to think that it was obvious...
Honestly i was going to say something back to his comment but i honestly couldn't be bothered. This is why some of us get annoyed when people ask questions

If you don't know the difference between a bugfix and a game update
You said bugfixes are not an "update".
That's your post.
That's your claim.
Answer me this, what is the first action steam does when you want to play the game but steam finds developer released a "bugfix" for the game?

Why is the a more updated build? Is it an unstable version or something like that?
Dunno I saw it on a post here but I can't remember which one, one of the modding posts IIRC. I've been using it seems fine could be that the staff forgot to update the thread or they were never notified about it.

You tell me which method is more "user friendly".
Let me correct you a bit
  1. Manual setup (first time)
    No need to do anything
  2. Manual installation/update (for each mod, every update)
    1. Download mod archive
    2. Open downloaded archive
    3. Extract it to game's folder
    4. If mod is not working, you, as new user, has no idea why, unless you have in-game errors
    5. Look at mod's readme to check if it has dependencies
    6. If it does, repeat all steps for each mod dependency

  1. Automatic setup (first time)
    1. Download mod manager
    2. Install mod manager
    3. Learn how to use it by examining its user interface or by watching some tutorials
    4. Follow the guide how to install an extension for it
    5. Set up mod manager so it correctly recognizes your game
    6. Set up a temporary mods folder in a secure location for mod manager to use so that you won't accidentally delete all the mods you have (<- this is ridiculous step, that was sucked from the finger to embellish your point, but I'll leave it as is. It doesn't matter in a long run)
  2. Automatic installation/updating (for each mod, every update)
    1. Click `Install` or `Update` in mod manager menu to install or update mod and its dependencies in one go
    2. If mod is not working (which is rare case, because mod manager handles all downloads and paths for you) mod manager will display error message explaining the cause and what to do.

There are more than 30 mods so far and, hopefully, will be more after DLC release. You tell me what's more user-friendly in a long run

I swear to god you guys have modded some other games in the past(for example skyrim) with hundreds of mods at the same time, faced these issues you keep talking about and ever since that happened to you you just keep assuming every game and every mod is same as that game and its mods that caused problems for you. It is almost like a modding related PTSD :KEK:

While you guys keep making statements about mod managers and games in general, I'm here trying to explain why those mod managers and their various features are useless for KP, especially for people using pirated copies.

So, I'm gonna post about this for the last time.
  • This isn't skyrim. This isn't fallout. This isn't cyberpunk.
    • This game doesn't have thousands of mods. This game doesn't need mod managers to "manage" a few mods that exist for this game.
    • This game has native support for mods and installation is as simple as a drag & drop to a folder clearly named "mods". You don't need to install an extra program just to install and "manage" a few mods.
    • This game doesn't have "conflicting" mods. This game doesn't need mod managers to tell you which mod is "conflicting" with other mods.
    • This game doesn't need mod managers to change mod load orders, at all. They work perfectly fine as is.
  • This game doesn't need mod managers to update mods for you because you are on a piracy forum and you are likely a pirate, so updating mods to their latest versions without also updating the game to the latest version WILL cause errors in the game.
    • In best case scenario you won't even notice the error OR it will cause a visual only error such as disfigured Karryn.
    • In worst case scenario it will corrupt your save file. Say goodbye to your progress because you thought mod managers are good because mod developer(s) told you so!
  • If you want to use mod managers or recommend them that's fine, but please don't talk about things that may or may not happen. You've probably seen, heard or experienced difficulties of modding. But those difficulties you are talking about don't apply to this game, at all.
  • I'm talking about exclusively this game and its mods. If you want to talk about modding other games such as skyrim or cyberpunk and why mod managers are actually useful for those games that is completely irrelevant to what I am saying.
Yeah I never understood the idea that a mod manager would be a need for this game. Some other modders or people who use mods almost insist on it and it's really not even necessary. If I can avoid having to use one then I will. Like Minecraft, you don't really need a mod manager. Like Prism Launcher is a terrible mod manager because you can install the same mods as you would vanilla Minecraft, and the performance through that mod manager would tank the game especially with shaders. But if you just manually mod Minecraft, you won't suffer any performance issues at all.

Definitely give it a try and learn how to properly mod your games and you'll save yourselves a lot of unnecessary headaches. Becoming overly reliant on mod managers is just going to give you a bad time.

Still no android port? Or even compressed version so I can launch it on JoiPlay? (S21 Ultra cannot launch it through JoiPlay)

Ok ok I give up, I am gonna install vortex, mod organizer, wabbajack and any other mod managers I can find on the internet just so I can install like 10 mods at max for a porn game that I am going to play for maybe 20 or 30 hours at max. Because it is "user-friendly" in the long run :KEK:
