gameplay and re-playability are high. There is no gallery which actually makes sense since there really are no scenes. You will understand once you give it a go. Not, much I can say else as this is the most unique ero game I played so far. There is a semi-grey line on NTR though. so

Excellent game. I normally dont like RPG but this one is very good. Had to play it in easy mode after 3 or 4 attempts in normal. Would be great if it had more side jobs apart from waiter and stripper.

Sublime, unique, there is hardly any game like this, and deserves its praises. While the grind can be frustrating at times, it doesnt impede the enjoyment of what you can do in this game. Especially when there might still be more content added to it.

Could be the best game here honestly.

Excellent corruption game!
It has great battle gameplay and decent prison management. The corruption process also has a fair bit of input from the player, so it's possible to slow down/speed it up to match your preferences. I absolutely loved this mechanic.

Plus it has wonderful english voice acting!

There are a lot of mechanics at play, but in depth understanding isn't too important unless you are aiming for a very difficult objective.

If i had to give one advice to new players, it would be: don't rush to establish order/control too much. It's definitely important, but a big source of early game income is from outside subsidies, that will dry out if you establish good order. And unless you also have decent source of income, you might end up broke.

amazing game, nice visuals, it's so original too. never seen a game like this. i hope they develop more on this or make a game related to this because it's so rare to see works like this anymore. i hope the devs doesn't abandon this project and keep the good work on it.

Overall, it's a great game.
It's mechanics are quite interesting and allow for way more than just playing to unlock the next sex scene.
Storywise it could be a little better but i guess that's expected from this kind of game.
The sex scenes are incredible, i personally would prefer the animations happening in the events too, instead of only on the fights, and that's the only point i really would need to call this game a "perfection".

If I were to describe this game in one word, it would be rude. Rude to it's core. There are a lot of sex scenes and most of them have one annoying thing in common. Karryn can never really dominate anyone. She can fight and kick ass, yeah, but that means avoiding the sex scenes. It's how she's ostensibly not allowed to do the raping that I find insulting. There's no true dominatrix route in this game where you'd think that would be the default. There's only the illusion of one as everything Karryn does is a means of servitude.

She's the female warden of an all male prison and the most she can do is fuck somebody in the amazoness position, kick them in the nuts or give footjobs. The latter of which you're given the option to turn off, along with giving prisoners rimjobs. I find it very odd how they included two fetishes in the game they knew a lot of people wouldn't like and then let you avoid seeing them, despite making them gameplay mechanics. Yet they couldn't be bothered to put in facesitting, pegging or Karryn being on the receiving end of a rimjob. So she can eat ass but nobody wants to eat hers despite how good it looks. When everyone knows rimming and anal stuff are what prison is all about. Therefore as the only woman in there, and the warden who supposedly has all the power at that, you'd expect her to be able to force someone to give her oral sex, but no. She can only be forced to give it to them.

Karryn would be in a fight with a prisoner and he can somehow shove his nasty ass or smegma dick in her face or his fingers in her mouth and she'll just lick it. Or she'll be in a fight with another prisoner and somehow end up in a position to give him a footjob. Seriously, how dafuq.. None of it makes any sense other than being incredibly biased towards the prisoners and that's why I call it rude. A more apt title for this game would have been Prison for Karryn, because of how little autonomy they give her.

Anyway, all that said it has the highest replay value of any hentai game I've played before. At first it was a frustrating grind that felt like a waste of time but in the long run I found myself going back to it. Wishing it was better.

Great game with a variety of enemies and scenes. I don't think anyone else has put this much effort into making truly modular battlefuck combat. The game is a bit grindy, but that can be modified by using the CC Mod or going into the JS

The most interesting part of this game is that it fixes the issue which a lot of female protagonist games with similar corruption themes must face: the power of the heroine and her actions usually feels unmatched.

Take the last Remtairy game Melty's Quest for example. In the later game the heroine has the power to destroy demons. However due to the corruption element, she was "forced" to serve men with money in order to get the resources required to repair the castle. So technically although the heroine is the most powerful being in the world, people with money are somehow still...more powerful than her.

Kerryn's prison however fix this issue by putting a twist to the combat and in game resources. Kerryn has the sex skills which are normally reserved for enemies. And by adding in the concept of "win by sex", the corruption level and the power of heroine will become positive related after a certain point. So whether you want to play virgin route or bitch route, in the end you will become the most powerful being in the prison. The bitch route evolves into a sort of male harem situation which is pretty rare,

Compared to most RPGM i can say this is one of the better ones. Good combat system, clear story and direction, above average art style and scenes.
Yet one thing that i really liked and later got tired of later was prison management. This game has what i could refer to as resource management, i really enjoy it at the start, but later on i just got tired and annoyed by the whole thing. Considering how many people have enjoyed im guessing that im a minority in that aspect. I can tell that the prison management system is well thought out and constructed, i just dont like it, simple as that.

Overall this game is a really good RPGM game, even if its not to my tastes, i would still recommend trying it out.

Great all around. The only annoying parts are that the end titles get cancelled out by the ng+ making everything insanely hard. Also the fact that you can't truly savescum if you want to.

If this had pregnancy in it, it would be 6/5.

A Phenomenal game from start to finish. With obvious minor performance issues but is completely overshadowed by the amazing gameplay, understandable story, and great to look at hentai scenes.

You play as Karryn a Secretary to visit the Prison with the Emperor and a riot suddenly happened at the wrong time. The Emperor chooses Karryn to be the new warden of the prison and calm down the entire 5 levels of the prison while Prison inmates tries to sexual harass her.

The gameplay is top notch. It has a Rock paper scissors attack types to enemies. And you can do Sexual attacks as the Karryn become more aroused, and becomes a big slut as the game progresses. Once you start gaining more dominant, submissive, and sexual Stats, Karryn Becomes more open to sex with the inmates, guards, slimes, ogre, reptiles, giants and more. You can be a submissive slut, A Femdom Dominatrix, A Strip masturbating teaser, a bar waitress and much more.

This game has so much content and variety in the minigames, money and order management in the prison, and tons of sexual positions during combat.

When you think about the enemies. Like they're just ugly bastards, old man, nerds, goblins, ogre and the other stuff that a majority doesn't like (except ntr people). But this one as the story progresses and the ending you get to see they are more caring and have actual character development.

The TINY issue I have is the performance regardless of High or Low computers. I Have a decent laptop and played this on low performance settings. It works fine, but once I played for more than 1 hour, it starts to slow down on the 43fps and even a low 20fps. But once I closed the game and reboot it, it mostly goes back to 60fps and fixed-ish.

I 100% recommend to play this game. It has solid story, flexible gameplay, tons of content and charm.

I can't believe I'm saying this but "Yes I would buy this game on DLSITE for $28.57" It is worth it! and support Remtairy and their hentai games!

A perfect hentai game. If not one of the best ever, it's at least in the top 10. I think the only problem with the game is that you can't really ever go full sadist, femdom; at least I couldn't. Despite that, the art, the gameplay, the setting, everything is pretty much perfect. It's got just enough management that it feels like you're progressing, but not too much that you're constantly at half-mast while playing it because it's too much management.

Scandalous state should be something the player chooses for Karryn to do. This "mechanic" being forced on you ruins the game imo and just leads into this unstoppable snowball into just repeatedly resetting which is not fun. Game has good ideas but is ultimately ruined by extremely poor balancing that leads into repetitive, inescapable cycles and needing to restart.

The review was a lot longer, but I clicked outside the box and it vanished. So, zero stars for whoever designed this interface.

Karryn's Prison is the Half-Life of lewd JPRGs.

Combat in lewd JRPGs has always felt half-assed, there only because RPGM gives you these mechanics for free and you have to pad the play time between your H-scenes with something. Smarter devs have been slowly getting rid of it altogether, avoiding Final-Fantasy like random encounters, adding stealth mechanics, environmental puzzles, etc. to replace it. Some lewd JRPG have become extremely similar to sandbox VNs, differing only in the control scheme.

And now Remtairy has come and given us something completely different. Something that I simultaneously want more of and don't want to see mindlessly cloned.

The story

The story itself is not exactly original. A cocky busty virgin is given a new job: instead of serving as the emperor's personal assistant/bodyguard she has to pacify a prison full of rowdy and horny inmates. You know exactly where this is going, right?

The art

It has grown on me. I am not a big fan of enormous breasts, but it's not like there are many games like KP to choose from. There's also the "blowjob mouth", which you can thankfully disable, and some scenes use some severe perspective distortion, but the amount of art is enormous. Most scenes are dynamically paperdolled to reflect everything that's happening.

The gameplay

A lesser game would have you fight basic battles against inmates and show you H-scenes upon defeat, but KP is not like that at all. First of all, its combat system is complex. Mind-bogglingly complex. You've got two health bars, one skill point bar, three damage types, status effects, unarmed combat, stances, a giant upgrade tree to choose from, enemy types that actually matter because of their stat profiles and skillsets. In any other lewd game you would see this as a hurdle, a mountain of complexity separating you from your H-scenes. But that's just half of the combat system, because the other half is all about sex. Yes, there are no prerendered H-scenes, everything happens right there on the combat screen.

You see, these prisoners aren't just going to beat Karryn up. But they aren't rapists either. They are perfectly willing to tear her clothes off, ogle her and talk dirty to her while masturbating, but they won't do anything to Karryn herself until one of her pleasure meters reaches one of the consent thresholds. And it will reach them, because the game expects you to roll with the punches (or dickslaps?). To ensure that it even autosaves your game.

The result is great. I've nutted to the game many times even before Karryn lost her virginity: the combat where Karryn is desperately trying not to lose, to keep her desires in check and her orifices inviolate while being mercilessy petted was already stimulating enough. But sooner or later Karryn will fall far enough, and the combat system is upended. Now you're a lust surfer, trying to keep Karryn sexier than she is sluttier, so she can milk the enemies dry before they fuck her brains out.

The ugly

The game is not perfect, of course. It plays like ass on weaker PCs. New content really peters out in the second half of the game. Combat masturbation is mostly a gimmick. Job minigames are another clever use of the combat system, but they take too long and are especially laggy. Finally, the game wants you not to power grind through tricky situations, but to fail and restart the game from the beginning (your stats are capped, but your enemies' aren't). You can keep some of the bonuses you've earned, but this is still frustrating if you fall off that wave you've been surfing on deep into your playthrough.

The verdict

Even with these issues, Karryn's Prison is a monumental achievement. It's the new yardstick for quality and depth of lewd JRPGs, a redefinition of the genre.
