No, this is why I make notes of what I changed.Folks, I need your help. I haven't touched this game in a year or so but really want to try the new update. I just remember having a lot of mods installed and also having changed a bunch of settings in the configs manually. Is there any way to upgrade to the newest DLC without losing those changed settings? Unfortunately I have no idea, which settings I changed etc.
Fuuuuuuuuuuuuuck. Yeah, I didn't really think about that when I first started playing the game. Would it make sense to just copy & paste the .js files etc from the version I have currently installed? Probably not right, as the update probably changed values in them, correct?
Mods(and the game) have changed a lot, atleast code wise, so I think doing that would most likely crash the game.

Probably will have to go through the files myself to see if I recognise and changes haha if not, probably start a new playthrough
If you still have the old files you can compare old and new with compare plugin of notepad++. But doing that will show you all the differences between the two files, not just those you made.damn

The 'goal' is to reach the final level and bring the game to its conclusion. This end is affected by your choices. So to answer your question, play how you want; it's your game.
You didn't say anything about joiplay so I assumed you were speaking about computer.
