I see that a lot of people dissapointed in current Gym sidejob and i partly agree with arguments.
On the other hand, we already got a nice game with cool mechanincs, but that lack of content(even if dev planned for this much content or not)
I can only suggest to help culture enjoyers such as CyberloafCat (and others i dont know about) who currently workin on providing us with new content.

If you think otherwise, i hope mod developers will provide you with the content you need.

The thing is that we shouldn't even see the game yet and thus are pirates so our opinions won't hold any weight. Unless someone on the discord shares the same sentiments as some people here do, not much is gonna be done. So just hope something does change down the line

To be fair, this DLC does what the other side jobs accomplished. A: A costume theme. B: B: sexual act with said costume. C: mini game with art pertaining to the setting.
I think most people are just dismayed over the DLC being exactly what people initially expected, the same old experience we've already fapped to death over; a bottomless hole bimbo indulging in more cocks with lacking grace and fertility of an onahole mini-game edition. Just as people became more jaded they were expecting more change or content in general from a 'DLC' as previous expectations of DLC from English translated H games have been pretty huge, like from Adventure town having multiple new waifus and mini games with them.
It's probably a good idea to move on from karryn and start a new H game for these devs. Ideally they don't make the same wasteful spending on VA actors and instead get more programmers and writers so we can get more mechanics and dialogue...

No, ppl expectation were very simple and fair, they wanted a good minigame like the ones we got at first releases such as waitress and reception job... (when the author had more passion for the game) and what ppl didnt want were simple click to fuk, u can easily see this in last 100 pages... its nothing complicated and the reason behind it is also very simple... the author had alot of passion at start and came up with alot of good ideas then by time slowly the fire ran out of fuel and he just wanted to finish the game, so things got more simple in term of codding and just eye candy, so the once complicated and fun corrupted system turned into click and fuck in latest releases... to be honest this happens to alot of games not just H games... sadly...
Now he is moving to new project with new fire...

Would say actually fairly the opposite. This Sidejob falls in the same Trap, the Gloryhole Sidejob fell. No meanigful Gameplay at all, while ignoring a Core Mechanik of the Game. Gloryhole and Gym Sidejob both are just you looking at pretty pictures. What you actually do doesn't really matter at all.
The Waitress (going around giving the ordered drinks)/Receptionist (processing visitors)/Stripper (paying attention to the moves patreons want to see) Sidejobs have a clear Gameplay Loop of what you should do and it comes with dangers while doing it but they also come with a Reward doing them. Even for Slut Karryn they offer a Gameplay Loop.
Waitress you can expose your Tits for Money, can make out with Prisoners for money etc and try to get the Sex Scene at the end for extra pay.
Receptionist Side Job falls a little bit Short on the Slut Karryn for Gameplay Stuff but it at least sells a nice Fantasy even though I would have liked it, if Slut Karryn would have been fleshed out more there.
Slut Stripper falls off more, since Private Dance Show should have been continuation of the Normal Minigame with Lapdance stuff and so on but again at least you can make extra money at the end even if it is just a glorified Defeat Scene.
Now look at Gloryhole and Gym Sidejob. What is actually the Gameplay here? You are just picking whatever Sexskill you want to use. That is it. Even something basic as, Using Observe to read the eyes of a Prisoner to get a Dialog like "Awwww, he is looking at my Tits... well I know what he wants" so if you then give him a Boobjob it gives you some sort of a Bonus, would at least add some sort of Gameplay. But no just like with Gloryhole you do whatever until you are done and that's that. If I just want to look at pretty pictures, I don't need to play a Game.
Nail on the head. The entire core of the game is that everything is a battle against the prisoners who are trying to corrupt Karryn, even the sidejobs. Thus, everything in the game uses the battle interface, even the defeat scenes. Earlier on Rem said that the waitress job is a 'trap' in order to corrupt pure(er) Karryns, but really it's just more of a trap than say the receptionist job, because that job is also a trap, they all are. The whole prison is. Eventually, Karryn will be corrupted while just being a receptionist same as the waitress, because the jobs are also battles against the prisoners.
In the gym and gloryhole minigames, there is no battle. The strip-show has some minor battle aspects, but since it's a strip-show I'm inclined to let it get away with being less of a battle against corruption (although oddly enough it's one of the only jobs where sex can absolutely never happen unless the player chooses to go to the VIP room). The gym could easily have supported the battle concept, and the fact that it doesn't means it ultimately fails the premise of the game.

actally you guys tried blueballing the inmates to the gym? i think this dlc is sadistic as fuck and funny raise the pink bar and change the target haha if you blueballing 7 people gain a tittle

I remember making every enemy in receptionist side job either orc or goblin, forgot how to do it though, I remember swapping up some stuff in the ini file

I'm sorry to say this, but I believe it's time to let go guys.
let's not forget to appreciate what Rem did here. he overcame some major challenges. our veteran players might remember how hard he worked and how we got like 4-5 different versions of a build in one fucking day. or when he tried to port the entire game to a new system. or how happy (and worried) we were when they decided they want to use VAs. that's a lot of dedication and passion in a field where most game devs (mostly) just give up or try their best to milk fans.
what we have rn is definitely one of the best games on the entire forum. yes, it has problems for sure. yes, it can be a lot better. but it's also ok to understand sometimes people just lose interest and want to go on. you can't create the same passion out of thin air.
the game has endings, it's mod-friendly and doesn't have that many game-crashing bugs (at least before the recent update and I'm sure it will be fixed). the community can take the helm. Rem proved to be reliable to at least complete H-games and I think we can let him go for a new journey.

For fun here's two gym scenarios that would have fit the battle format of the game.
The system that's currently in the game where Karryn is spotting for prisoners could almost certainly also be reworked to being a battle (Karryn has to keep the prisoner's attention off of her body, stop them getting hard, make them focus on lifting, but can get distracted by prisoner's chat and erections), but there's nothing wrong with it functioning mainly for sluttier Karryns, it's just there's currently only content for slutty karryns.

Guys don't expect the gym job to change in any way. This beta is for bugs and nothing else. Just as rem told us not to request any new scenes for the bar side job rework don't expect anything here. They are done with this game. Your only hope for continued content now are the modders.

Thats not all true, the whole point of the feedback channel in the discord of theirs was for exactly that. Feedback. Until they have said the gym job won't change in anyway then we don't know what to expect. remember this update releases to the public next week (No date available). it is only Wednesday. Things can shift.
Edit- Hell the entire feedback channel TDLR is that it doesn't feel like it took anything from the base game core loop and used it. Everyone likes the gym concept, but its actual implementation is lackluster with once again the general consensus, this doesn't feel like Karryn Prison it feels generic.

I don't want to start an argument, Red, but you don't get to say that I jump in to contrast an opinion when you're constantly saying how rushed you find this game and belittle anyone who says otherwise. The irony of your comment is astounding. The last time I commented in here was on September 2nd (two full months ago). "Always" is a stretch. I don't comment like I used to because how tiring your routine is. Other than that, you're very helpful answering questions.
As for the comment I quoted, they mention how most jobs offer "generic" defeats but have unique sex positions. I acknowledge KP isn't for everyone but I don't think the side-jobs and their defeats are bad. I'd love to see people come up with unique minigames that have replay value. I find myself playing the Waitress job again and again.
As much as I love this game I actually won't be getting the gym DLC. People here have been saying it's only benefiting slutty Karryn, which is the polar opposite of how I like to play. If there's no corruption aspect then I'm not interested. It's disappointing but I wasn't hyping the gym DLC up that much in the first place. I'm actually not into the Stripper job, too. I think the 1st floor jobs are the best.
Anyway, no ill feelings. End of the day this is just a porn game. Not worth losing sleep over it.
(edit: I'm also reading the gym-beta-feedback channel on their Discord as NekoPi mentioned above. If Rem won't read the forum here, he'll definitely read his own server. I'm happy people can openly criticize (constructively) the game to the dev. It'll be interesting to see how he takes this feedback.)
