My definition of real games are the ones I can actually play, not just watch...They are basically exact opposite of glorified sex animation viewers pretending to be a game...
Glorified sex animation viewer is a genre itself similar to Visual Novel games, but I understand what you mean by games trying hard to force gameplay mechanics just for the sake of trying to make them appear more interactive.
I would prefer if KP had gallery mode where it's basically in combat/job mode but there's no gameplay involved, just selecting different characters/locations making them initiate any position while also being able to change Karryn's corruption state to change how she'll react to them.
My preferences are pretty open so I like playing both interactive or non-interactive types depending on my mood, I mostly play Japanese games though translated or not that usually won't be allowed here as they generally satisfy my taste better compared to English ones.
I do like Subverse's gameplay especially the ground combat but the sex scenes definitely lack control which disappoints me, they did add some control in the early development after feedback but It's been quite long since I've went back into it, so I'm not sure if it has been improved more or not.
GTA 6 could have the potential to be a AAA porn game if they made actual sex gameplay but that will never happen.
