My counter argument is every single build is bad, everything you do eventually leads to dead ends and you either grind it like a mobilephone game for hundreds of hours, the way Rem intended, or cheese the hell out of it.The argument that sex builds should be weak because "it's a corruption mechanic bro" makes no sense for Karryn's Prison because the literal "Happy ending" is locked behind turning Karryn into a slut. Melty's Quest was much the same where the true postgame was locked behind turning the protagonist into a slut and it was generally a "happier" resolution to all plot threads.
I don't disagree with the progression of passives having downturns and parts of the progression where you grow weaker as a physical combatant, but the end result should be that a endgame slutty Karryn with a dedicated sex build should be stronger than a midgame Karryn with a lower slut level at sexually defeating enemies, but that is typically not the case.
Without that final turn around where a sex build finally "clicks", you just end up with no motivation to play sexual combat because it takes much longer to setup, it is much weaker than any other build, and using it will just make you grow even weaker over time.
The story is not about Karryn getting punished for turning into a slut, why should it mechanically punish the player for turning Karryn into a slut?
The issue stems from two core dynamics of the system imo:I don't disagree with the progression of passives having downturns and parts of the progression where you grow weaker as a physical combatant, but the end result should be that a endgame slutty Karryn with a dedicated sex build should be stronger than a midgame Karryn with a lower slut level at sexually defeating enemies, but that is typically not the case.
The whole game is built on a timer, so having dead ends is perfectly fine (especially with how NG+ works). The game just needed to balance stuff a bit better (Descension overall does that imo).My counter argument is every single build is bad, everything you do eventually leads to dead ends and you either grind it like a mobilephone game for hundreds of hours, the way Rem intended, or cheese the hell out of it.
CC mod, doesn't works with newest boob size thoughI know this is a popular game so asking if there's a impregnation mod. (I only remember downloading this once so don't know much about this game)
Not really possible to do accurately, since its a set of 2d images, and the three measurements are around the body. It would rely on the images to all be in proper scale to make an attempt, basically. You'd ideally also need an image of Karryn standing or laying straight, showing her entire body head to toe to get the best estimate.Any math wizzes that can figure out Karryn's height and weight from her Three measurements? I'm curious since her proportions are kinda ridiculous (not that I'm complaining).
Does this new boob size mod add any other content? If not, I am happy with the standard boba size. Does the link in the first page come with this boba size dlc installed?CC mod, doesn't works with newest boob size though
The issue stems from two core dynamics of the system imo:
1) Enemies always scale with a NG/NG+ Lvl 1 Karryn. If you're progressing the game normally, your combat abilities will always dwarf any slutty behavior. Enemies in turn will have beefed up in response before your slut skills have gotten off the ground. The only real alternative is to intentionally lose early to get the easily accessible skills so that you don't have an over abundance of combat passives & levels. Unless you're on Prisoner difficulty and just want to do a run from Lvl 1 (ie, Descension), there is no real point to even going about it that way imo.
2) You get too many passives before you can reasonably use sex skills unless you hard focus on specific ones. The combat ones are pretty well spaced out, but the sex ones go from 0 to 50 to 100 in most cases. Karryn should honestly be able to engage in more of the action out of a sense of necessity/efficiency before she hits the downward spiral. It feels pretty unnatural compared to how combat progress works with buying edicts and accessories. Also on the subject of edicts/accessories, most of the ones that make slut build progress easier are too expensive for the early game or straight up aren't accessible for a good while.

Also, while I won't say that the game isn't a grindfest under the right (or wrong?) conditions, but unless you're playing on Prisoner difficulty + intentionally gimping yourself (Challenge Mode), a single run should never take a long time. Multiple runs shouldn't take any longer than normal $50/60 game releases.
My issue has always been that the game doesn't really explain any of its pitfalls, so it's almost all trial by fire. Unless you have FromSoftware quality, that's going to be a hard sell.
the timer is both too short for you to actually leveling karryn to continue and progress into the run and too long to not become painfully repetitive. NG+ gives you no achievements, except recently added descendant runs and all challenge runs require a fresh start, more then half of which requires prisoner diff,The issue stems from two core dynamics of the system imo:

You can play CC mod with latest version, just don't toggle new booba size. Small and regular works fineDoes this new boob size mod add any other content? If not, I am happy with the standard boba size. Does the link in the first page come with this boba size dlc installed?

Thanks.... So I really don't want to be that annoying noob but how do I use the CC mod? I found a gitgud page but applying the mod doesn't as simple just copy-pasting it. Do I need a separate mod manager? You can play CC mod with latest version, just don't toggle new booba size. Small and regular works fine

I mean, what games are you actually playing for that long if you're not enjoying the experience? It's not like the game is forcing you to put 100+ hours into it to see everything. The game is also not hard unless you want it to be, so the odds being against you is really up to your discretion. While it's true the game never has a proper tutorial and nothing ever explained to you, on purpose, because the game really isnt that big, that complex, which Rem really been trying to hide and acting like there actually more to it than it shows. After at most 20 hours in you more or less mastered the game, before you even get to level 4 on your very first run, you can already tell what you did right or wrong in a current run and how it will go and end. What's left for the next 300 hours is to fight is the RGP with odds stacked against you.
It is not really up to the player because game is heavily rigged against them. Whole game is based around the idea of artificially extending longevity of the game through using underhanded tactics against the player. This is why you never actually see "odds" in the game and why everything is described as vaguely as possible, not just during battles but also during "management" parts of the game. This is also the reason why game doesn't display crucial information such as damage previews, turn orders, numeric buff/debuff descriptions...the odds being against you is really up to your discretion
The game has its own rules in place. Whether we agree with how those rules are balanced or not is up to each person, but there is a clear way that things work once you understand the system. Really, only the first run is "rigged" b/c you don't have a baseline to go off for how the game functions. It only stays like that if you don't try to engage with the majority of the tools in the game.It is not really up to the player because game is heavily rigged against them. Is very playable right now, most of hotfixes after the current version in site are about language issues, so go ahead and have funIs it worth playing now or should I keep waiting for a more stable version?
