Sorry I’m slow; so just clarifying: All the mod contents go into the same folder where the nw.exe is?
I don't know what you mean by "all mod contents". If you've downloaded mod correctly mod archive should have two things in when you open it: a www folder and a meta.ini file. To manually install the mod just extract the archive to where nw.exe is. There should already be a www folder next to nw.exe, you need to "combine" them into a single folder.

Yeah, every mod (if it's for the current version of the game) will install in the www/mods folder of KP. The mods should all come in a MODname.zip (or other compressed file type), then maybe a Mod name folder, then a www folder, then a mods folder, then the modname.js and modname file (which has the actual mod data inside it).

So as long as you extract the mod file somewhere, then copy the www file into your KP install folder and combine files when it asks, you can successfully install mods manually (you can extract directly into your KP install, but it's not my preferred method). As a note, it can be a good idea to check after if the game runs fine after installing a couple of mods, rather than installing all of them at once. That way, if something goes wrong you can determine which mod is having issues easier.

The www folder from the CCMOD I found only has the js and the json files. The assets are separate? Do I need to encrypt the image/audio files and manually put those in as well?

Edit: Wait nvm I've worked it out. Thanks for your help!

Edit 2: Actually doesn't seem to work nvm. What is the latest version of KP that the CCMod is compatible with?

Jesus fucking christ I am losing faith in humanity every time I check this forum. You may not be very good with computers, I can understand that but how hard it can possibly be to even a fucking 5 year old kid to read and then follow a ONE(1) step installation process of mods made for this game? Literally all you guys need to do is put the mod archive next to nw.exe, right click archive and select "extract here". How is this hard for you? Even my fucking bird can do this while hitting mouse randomly with his beak.

This assumes they have downloaded the correct file (which quite often isn't the case)

Any mod that only has the source archives available on the release (or god forbid, the only way to download is to click the Code button) require an extra step or two.

Latest version works with the latest version.

Did you download the correct archive? (ie: the one that you get when you click on the DOWNLOAD link that is on the releases for pretty much every mod [there are some exceptions, usually if said releases don't have the DOWNLOAD link along with the accompanying message about only clicking DOWNLOAD])

The all caps for download are not me, it's the actual casing used for the download links.

I don't know how people still manage to do that when there is an obvious download link. Look, it even has two arrows pointing to it:

Lol chill man. I did that and the game's not working. I'm just asking as its coming up with a black screen with that mate so I'm wondering if it's not compatible with the current version up.

Yep that's the one I used. The first edit was for me realising I used the wrong one. Second edit: I downloaded the right one and started back over from scratch but the screens coming up as a black screen and it all looking broken :s
