People may bitch about Rem, rightfully so or not, but he's proven that good porn can go together with good gameplay, and nothing comes even close to KP in the rpg/battlefuck category.

They complain about the quantity.
They don't like that there's no content for the 4th level and several rooms on other levels that had potential for more side jobs. Also, he's been a total flake since completing the game and hasn't produced anything despite pulling in a pretty decent amount per month from his crowdfunding sites.

Speaking of bitching about Rem, I hate how the descension runs from the most recent dlc were handled.
Don't get me wrong, they're great and add much replayability, but it'd have been SO EASY to make it better.
Instead of what we got, there should have been a list of check boxes, each applying a single modifier. Every player would be able to design their own challenge. For example, you could make the vanilla game super hard, without introducing any extra mechanics.
And keep in mid, the descension runs Rem has designed could still exist. You just pick a run, it automatically checks the appropriate boxes for you, and it rewards you with a title at the end, bingo!
One simple change would have made it so much better.

I don't yearn for it but yeah that sounds good.
Personally I'd love to see a succubus mod. We already have womb tattoo and condom drinking from mods, if a mod combines them, adds succubus Karryn visuals and then implements a few new mechanics like Karryn slowly turning into a succubus, first she is weak but she gets stronger each time someone cums inside or something like that it could turn out amazing.

You sort of implying that he's the only one (among the only ones maybe) that do a decent job at both the "porn" and the "game".
Having both "porn" and "game" for a porn game is a requirement, not a bonus from the dev. You can glaze Rem for hitting the standard requirement, especially with that 40 buck price tag, which is a premium price.
As for RPG part of KP you are definitely glazing here, the game lacks what defines an RPG game, if not absent, thing is Rem had plans for them, which didnt make it. Like many other things that arent even in the cutting room floor, it become more and more apparent as you walkthrough the game and see the gaping hole (apart from Karryn's).
What we end up with isnt an complete supposed RPG game but a demo, a paid demo of battlefuck.
As for battlefuck, Well Karryn Prison coined the terms and until now while I definitely enjoy it, I cant say it's good for I dont have anything else to compare, there an absent of battlefuck games out there.
That should give you a hint of game development, and of what Rem promised and what he actually delivered, how and why he is "bitched about".
