What do you mean? It happens all the time in the early parts of the game. Secretary and Lady Stance are the two energy moves you'll have to use when Karryn has no other actions she can take, and she doesn't learn Pleasure Stance until she's a slut. She'll always have voice lines speaking about comparing the inmates to the emperor.

Others said that the game is way too hard even on easy mode. I guess these people play a lot of MMORPGs and are used to be baby sitted? Because this game is partially a learning experience on how to handle challenges and strike certain balance choices.

This is all my personal opinion of course but I was a little surprised that someone could rate this a 1 star game with such high qualities in gameplay smoothness, fighting depth and art quality as a few examples.

You're not avoiding all of the porn. Unless you're playing on Secretary, you're bound to see something unless you really push it (especially with the Descension mechanic). Whether it's just the sidejobs, Karryn in her room, the guards, or the occasional 'Oops I messsed up' desire mismanagement, you will see some of the content even going for Empress End. It being an h-game doesn't mean that people don't want to engage with the gameplay in multiple ways. If the gameplay doesn't have anything to it, most people aren't going to put time into these games.

If all you care about is the art/voices, there are dedicated VNs with far better characters and stories to look towards.

The whole game is focused entirely on Karryn's psyche and how much she is willing to do. The premise is ridiculous if you take two seconds to think about it, but if you follow the rules in place this means that Karryn has to want stuff to happen to her. This means the game is built off of both sides of the coin. For the whole game, you consistently get access to tools that keep Karryn from falling to her lust. You even get penalized for being too far gone or losing control at the wrong times. The game also straight up tells you that it expects you to do multiple runs, so I don't see why it's farfetched to want rewards for doing so. The titles are supposed to be that, and I think they're fine overall.

All I was saying is that the two endings and their rewards aren't comparable. Not being a slut devolves the game into rock paper scissors combat, where you just hyper focus on one stat and macromanage fatigue better.

I genuinely think the game has every right to laugh at a player's efforts for going the secretary path. Playing an adult game and actively avoiding the adult content.

The game has auto-saves for a reason. Developer KNEW that people would save scum losses because they're uncomfortable seeing Karryn get raped, but he also saw that it was a core part of the game's design. So he forced you to deal with losses.

When I personally get into an H-game, the game part is just as important as the hentai part.

If we're really going to take the conversation in that direction, I'll just concede since I think our perspectives are too different there.

I'll give you passives since the negative/slutty ones completely dwarf the positive ones in number (which is the point), but the discussion is different when it comes to edicts and titles.

There are objectively more readily available edicts that are dedicated to avoiding being a slut (or at minimum slowing the process). The ones that ramp up sluttiness take much more time to get access to. Looking at titles, the best ones are far and away the ones that make it easier to avoid becoming too slutty. There are more titles that help you slow the corruption than ones that speed up the process, some of which you even get from failing in some way at previous points in a run (this way you have more to work with in future attempts). Heck, trying to get a number of them incentivizes you to keep your slut level low. The game is built for both routes.

As someone who has spent way too much time playing this game, seeing what I can get away with while still going for Empress End is a fun change of pace from just making every run a Happy End. I am even doing a Descension run atm (on the last Descension currently) that started from a fresh save. I'm not avoiding the h-content entirely or anything, but plotting out whether or not it's better to let Karryn fall or hold her ground. For me, that level of control is fun.

The auto-saves are for difficulty balancing. It's a common practice in roguelites and many games that have aspects centered around challenge. Just by nature of how games work, you can't prevent people from save scumming outside of doing something absurd like deleting a save when a flag is triggered (which is a cardinal gaming sin in 99% of cases). The save system doesn't have any other meaning behind it besides difficulty. Secretary difficulty turns off auto-saves anyways, so I really think you're reaching here.

At the very least the game is a 4/5 for me with the only thing missing for me is that there should be post game content. More enemy types but for the most part they covered the generic fantasy monsters. maybe horsemen, cyclops and incubus's could be added in a level 6 Post game story? Also, the original booba size was too big imo but they made an option to the game to make them a more "realistic" size xD. The Base game no mod does have its flaws though as i think the side jobs grind can be tedious but i like the variety.

Finally finished the game in Normal Mode on the second run for the first time with the "Emperor's Secretary" title equipped the whole save, boy this game is hard when you don't NG+ for buffs.

I have all four hero books (Slut Level <50 by the time floor 4 is subjugated) but ended the run at Slut Level 82, kept all virginities and first kiss intact except for cumshot on body but somehow got the Happy End instead of the True End(?)
Karryn went with 6 inmates to fuck during the wedding but i kept the encounter to only cumshots and they gave me the "Technically a Virgin" title

Do you need to finish a run under Slut Level 50 to get the True End even with everything else intact? Not even a handjob or kiss
