I only played first 30 minutes of keepers 1. Why is there violence nd rape in the second one? It seemed really chill and yawning in the first one.

HUH?? Did we read the same VN?? The first game is alot more brutal.
The answer to all of your questions is the "only played first 30 minutes" part. Keepers 1 contains arguably even more violence than this one but you simply didn't get far enough to see any of that stuff.

Keepers 2 has the perfect balance between sexual tension and violence that makes sense in order to achieve supremacy.
Unlike the 1 where some plot decisions were much more arbitrary (but still made some sense), my experience with the 2 so far has been that everything largely depends on your decisions as player and anything too shifty can be avoided. Granted, we haven't seen it all yet.
Been curious about this game for some time now. Do I need to play the first one to enjoy the 2nd? Or is it more of a stand alone experience?
Play the first one before starting this for sure. The story will make much more sense if you do it that way.
welp just got to the end currently and i hope things get better for you lumari. i enjoy the story and world you created and would be sad to see if you had to call it quites after how far you have planed ahead.
A new update and lots of bad news, game is no longer on Android, as an Android player I will try to play this on joiplay, I have a PC to play this on but I prefer playing on Android still. It was nice to see Nozumi make a comeback, definitely my favorite character in part 1 oddly enough. But after so many years and even planning for a third and fourth game, the game could get dropped. I think I speak for the community when I say, we'd rather see you take a break and come back when things are better, or just take longer to release updates while things are chaotic in ur personal life than see you leave the project unfinished. Wishing you the best regardless of what decision is made

Excited to see that KPR-3 is in the works. Keepers 2 is one of my all-time favorite VNs on the site, and I really hope to see the end of it one day. I've seen too many abandoned projects on this site already.

The writer's muse isn't easily subdued. Taking a break sometimes allows to return invigorated, leading to better creations too. In any case, I hope everything is going to be okay for you. At least I wish you the best.
