Lambert really forced me to cheat, I was so close to defeating him one time, but he just rampaged on the right time.

Personally, I needed 4 tries to beat him on Extreme (with always the same build). Board manipulation was key to destroy his golems as fast as you can, and preventing him from stripping me of all my armor in 1 turn. It's a real jump in difficulty and I understand if it got too frustrating...Lambert really forced me to cheat, I was so close to defeating him one time, but he just rampaged on the right time.

He was just a sliver away from getting naked, but the RNG gods really hate me for some reason. I used stun and focused on getting a high shield percentage with my turns, used the "throw them the fuck at the sky" move at the golem, and I ran out of good blocks to use near the end, while giving Lambert almost unlimited combos with each successive turn, which activated his rage quite easily. So yeah, that's why I cheated on him.

Also note that since Chapter 4 was cut in half because of the amount of content added during development, we're missing out on quite a lot of content they already added but cut back because they revised everything up to the new chapter 4 (also the public demo was announced for end of 2023, so idk when we will get a chance to get a version with everything added in chapter 5...); looking at the files on the current version on the thread there are a couple of CGs/sprites missing/not updated (if you look at every report they made during 2020-2023).
Sad to see how many times they went back on the game and delay progress on it... but at least they shouldn't be bothered by this version now (do not make me regret saying this, Punipen).

- Update of some old UI to make them more consistent
- Steam Deck support up to date
- Revised everything up to Tharsix's battle (next patreon build could include it)

The first revised build came out two years ago (Dec 2021). I will absolutely not hold my breath for them to finish the game in the next 12 months (if it was what they hinted there). Not gonna happen.

They are stalling to milk money, they are in no rush to finish this project, No mater what they say.
So I might come across as dumb ass here. I open the game from the launcher and it took me that page I posted. Does this mean that I am going to need to join the patron to play it?

and there is so much feature in next update
working on rework of already existing chapter aka i want to milk you for another half a year and then i will create a new chapter but u have to pay for it for 1 year and even when the game is finished. There will be a rework of chapter 6, 7, 8.... rework of rework

What I really want to know is how many of their patreons are ok with these choices in development. They have a private discord (I think ?) and we have 0 transparency on what influence the contributors have. So long I don't pay for this game, they can do whatever they want with it (and I don't think they'll push further than the 6th chapter before finishing the storyline they have in plan). I'd be very happy to share this game more if they actually worked properly on it (not to shadow the good remake(s) they did, just took waay too long for what it is...).

Most sane patreons already left years ago, what's left are either simps, people don't care about money, or people hving bad spending habit. Furry porn is still free market as long as you do it smart.
This game is infamous for unethical stalling to milk as much money as they can.
Remember people pay the same amount of money just for null-ghost's (or any artists') image packs that only hv 1 image with 100 variations.

Another NullGhost's curse... I hope he will not drop this project, he's such a talented artist but has trouble staying on projects; and i wouldn't wish anyone to have to pick up what he made (although Atmos on AnotherEidos has had nice CGs from Wasp among others)
