No, not too stupid. I made it with the intention that your options are fairly wide open and set out tons of stuff to explore so there are no real "wrong paths". I think the main issue with this approach is that there are some who want to see a bunch of sexy and I don't correctly explain how to maximize that.
My first advice would be to use your files and hearts sparingly (don't make the see sexy pics and all or nothing choice). My second advice would be to trawl this or other forums for more hacks that make you last longer even from looking at pics.

Each mall girl gives you a slight chance to get more money when you defeat them. I'm planning to make a girl that gives you money but that doesn't exist yet. I wanted to make it a limited resource to make each mall trip a unique experience on replays. (See different girls, and each time you see the same girl you have different amounts of cash)
Would you mind expanding on this? There is not a good ratio for larger women or darker ethnicities currently but I'm working on it. Beyond that, there are well over 100 of them so maybe I'm not presenting that depth well.
With every release of adding more girls the preferences will matter more and more. It is not tracking kinks however (actually one of my biggest mistakes with the tracking is that I'm tracking too much which waters down each shift). If you want it to track kinks and adjust to that, I would suggest Trials of the Succubi.
It's great to hear feelings (always form my future work) but I don't have any perfect solutions to that currently. My advice would be to not click through as fast between timers. 99% of encounters don't care how long you look at pictures or read text so just take your time until the timer starts doing anything. Clicking the big green click button starts the timer so just make sure you stop and smelled the roses before clicking it each time.
If you mean the speedrun timer at the end that's only if you want to be competitive about it. I expect the vast majority to completely ignore that aspect. I don't even personally enjoy speedrunning haha.
Regardless, I highly suggest you try out casual mode which removes the timer entirely to take as long as you wish. There is also the possibility to trigger godmode by typing it which will remove typing entirely while you get your bearings.
To my knowledge the engine should be increasing the picture size until it is stretched fully vertically. Make sure you are playing on full screen because it gives the pictures much more space. Playing offline unfortunately will not change that at all, it is nearly 1:1 experience. (but it will have a folder of all the unorganized thousands of pictures)
I'm glad the idea landed with you but I think with just a few adjustments you will find things that truly excite you. There are so many things to explore that you are bound to land on things that get you going especially if you take time to experience the context. Haha I got a kick out of this but you aren't the only one who thought this (but it's been a year since someone said it). The theme of the game is that a virus took over your computer as the whole reasoning for why you have to type your way out of that pickle. That's just the first few lines of dialog in the game.
Believe me, I don't have the technical experience to actually create a virus and I use programs that don't have those vulnerabilities to allow for them. Thanks for trying it, I hope you give it another shot!

In other news, boy is it incredibly deflating to spend 6 months every single day on the update to be met with 3 reviews with an average of 1.3 stars. On one hand I have the confidence to know that I'm still proud of what I made and that the game isn't for everyone. But on the other hand, stuff like this GREATLY limits how many others are willing to give it a shot. Not to mention, the complaint of having to type to progress the photos isn't even true.
Any ideas of how to communicate this better? Any advice in general?
In the meantime I'll just dust myself off and push on but it hurts, especially considering this is my living now.
I don't usually do this, but I'll try to maybe inject some positivity, it's always saddening to see negative reviews after so much work.
Personally, I enjoyed my time with Keystroke, and got to about 30+ hacks before I gave up and turned on godmode to get my knocks off.
I like the concept of the 'AI' learning your preferences, being able to 'delete' those you don't like, and I like how you brought over the concept of 'temptation' over from ToTS, and I enjoyed the content you've put into the game. These are novel, interesting concepts, and I can definitely see the hard work put into the game.
Personally though, I think that Keystroke is ultimately at odds with itself, the concept of a typing game + smut is interesting, but the human body only has enough blood to power one brain, and we have two, one up and one below, if you catch my drift. Trying to do both just doesn't work out. My playthroughs are pretty much either a serious playthrough where I'm ignoring the ladies to get more hacks, or one where I turn on godmode in order to properly choke my turkey. I think that's mostly where the negative reviews are coming from, people looking for porn with some game, instead of a game with porn.
Perhaps because of this, I enjoyed ToTS much more. Keep up the good work, though.
I don't get this game, what is the objective? what are the reward for typing a bloody short novel on each level? I truly do not get the whole concept at all

While I disagree about some of the things being so black and white, I hear the point you are making. I have two potential solutions in mind and hopefully can implement them over the next month or so. It won't be an overhaul but hopefully blend the two over time.

(poor minds as well but hey...)I always remembered the Lost Ark "Vykas typing test" which was, apparently, for many people very hard to focus on since her booba just kept on moving and bouncing while you had to perform typing tests. Which ended up in wiping the entire party
If I were to summarize the object it would be to explore at your leisure. In general I tried to give the player a simple task that should be fairly manageable. However, I wanted slowly growing temptations to convince the player to stop attempting the task and just have fun instead. You can "win" by sticking to the task but it isn't a very sexy path. Alternatively, you can't reject it forever because you'll lose all of your resources so you have to pick and choose when to stay the course.
If you want to avoid the typing entirely but still "win" just type in godmode. I will fully admit that I didn't make nearly enough sexy rewards for winning but I think a lot of people are missing my intention that you aren't supposed to just win constantly. (especially those looking for a fap)

I actually played on casual mode for a bit, but I felt like I'm cheating or playing on easy and felt it's wrong
It seemed to me like a "you're too slow, so I'll have some pity" move from the game and it didn't feel like that's how I am supposed to play. I saw there are zones dedicated to Asian women (didn't click on it as the whole "kink" list was 'Asian' so I chose smth different that I thought will be more adventorous), and BBW (didn't click on it as I am not attracted to BBW). But regarding ethnicities in general I think I saw black women only once (in the military zone, 2 girls in one scene), the rest was "run-of-the-mill" white attractive girls and for me that's boring
And I don't mean to criticise these women or people who like them! I am white dude myself, but I simply like more variety.Also, it would be nice imo to have a 1st stage that throws at the player very varied content (regarding models and scenarios/kinks/fetishes, even which body parts players prefer*) and then based on player reactions the game could make sure that in the future zones some certain amount of the player preffered content/type of women will continue (growing in a way that in the final area for example 90% of content would make player less able to focus on writing). I am pretty sure I'd lose more times with different models and scenarios, as it is now I lost only in the "bugs zone" where the girls were hacking(?) me while I was writing.
*There was 1 zone that asked me about my preffered body part (TotS one I think), which I liked, but I didn't feel like my choice mattered at all. I was still mostly attacked by boobs iirc.
What does Vampirism do exactly? I know there's a bite command, but it seems to need some kind of resource that I never have.

Well, I got into an endless loop, on level 3 in the sports zone we play volleyball, there are 2 seconds to enter a command I don't have time to type even 3 letters, that's all, this game made me angry

Yeah, that's about how it displays for most setups. It could be better but the system was set up with dialog being the most important aspect. Well sure, casual isn't the "main version" but you already pay for it by getting 50% of hack drops so don't feel bad at all and take your time!
The main issues with ethnicity variety are what people request, and what galleries exist for scenarios with enough photos to make it work. (I usually need around 50 each) But I hear you and will double my efforts to push harder in this direction. (though BBW is requested more often)
If the initial zones were the height of varied content, that wouldn't come through for the player until at least the second play. I'm personally shooting to have the most variety in later stages when it will matter more.
Yeah the TOTS zone doesn't choice doesn't change what your affected by too much, but makes those things "hit harder" for the most part. From what I hear from you about what you are looking for, I highly suggest playing the actual Trials of the Succubi game because other than ethnicity variety, it sounds more up your alley. (It figures out your kinks with hardly any timers too)
Currently having too much of it leads to a heart loss (and certain scenes that accompany it depending on who you were bitten by). The bite hack is unrelated and uses bugs found in the Campsite Zone.
There is a hack that does this but it is legendary so I don't think I want to be the one to share it here. I suggest instead typing the hack godmode which will save you the effort of copy pasting at all so you can explore at will.
First, let me thank you so much for giving the game another shot even though your first experience was less than stellar.
I was unaware of any infinite loop there but I will look into it now. It definitely sounds like something went wrong. I'm saddened by the fact it frustrated you to that degree but can provide other solutions if your patience allows.
Overall it is not an NTR heavy game. I would say less than 5% of the content leans into this heavily. Though there isn't a ton of time with the love interests (other than maybe Liya), it was difficult for me to work it in well.
That being said, I am unaware of any scene were someone else's fiancé gets into action. I'm wondering if I presented it wrong or actually completely forgot about something I made. (I do forget plenty of it but I feel like I would have remembered something like this) None of the NTR content deals with someone else's relationship, only your own interests messing around with others.
Foot worship is more in my other game. I don't think nylon tights come up but someone can fill me in, I normally don't categorize stuff like that. There is some sissyfication and complete male to female transformations in Color World (lose a heart) and Spooky Town (possession Boss) zones along with 2 or 3 hacks that are involved with it. It is not a heavy theme in this game but it's in there.

The very first woman on the NTR lvl THe mall is someone' else's bride to be not the MC's which makes it a fucking harem lvl not NTR since NTR is about getting cucked not fucking other people partners that is harem game shit.

maybe you could put more emphasis on it being largely a censored porn game. it seems like a lot of people that don't get the game do not understand the appeal of that

Oh I see, I think you are referring to Taylor Vixen in the wedding dress. No, this scene is not considered NTR in any way. Yes, she is engaged to someone else. You can try to hit on her, financially aid her etc, but there is not the option of watching her be banged by someone else. There is a huge assortment of encounters, just run away from any that aren't doing it for you.
Though you can't cuck others here, I know of a few other NTR games where you can as an option so this feedback is new to me.
I'm really wary of the censorship tag because my impression of it was that there would be no true nudity. This is an interesting angle though, what do others think?
