While these are fantastic ideas, sadly I am unable to do any of that due to the engine used. I've always thought this game would do wonders on an actual game engine but the amount of time it would take is astronomical. If I were to put that much time in and commercialize it (would take years), I wouldn't be able to use any of the photos for a game of that scale.

That is unfortunate. Implementing those on a standard web app would be trivial. I guess I kind of assumed the engine would allow you to insert scripting on parts of the interface as at the end of the day it is a web app. At the moment I just kind of "force" myself to play with those restrictions
