Hello, dev here.
If this is indeed V0.8.6 and not V0.8.5, then please take a moment to read this.
V0.8.6 includes an overhaul of the video player. This change is currently in testing, it took a long time to implement due to the nature of the change (The game contains over 400 clips that your humble servant had to check individually). This should resolve issues experienced with the old video player.
Even if the first results are encouraging, please feel free to report inconsistent behavior, I've been through a year of development, I wouldn't be surprised if I missed something somewhere in the process.
And if you enjoy the content, you can always show some love or share the game, I try my best, in time...

I am playing this game for the first time. My biggest issue with this is that, it doesn't really feel like a RPG game. It felt like a VN pretending to be RPG. I'm still in the early phase of the game, but it really feels like a RENPY game
