I agree that Sengoku was a better game overall, but Kichikuou has the better story and setting (no best girl Kenshin though), it's also a complete story unlike the rest of the Rance series.

Pretty fair statement. I also find Sengoku more enjoyable as a game. Kichikou on other hand, have much more story, routes and many other things. Also as far as i remember... It's the first time, when we see map of the continent. Right?

Would've easily put Kichikuou in top 10 most amazing games i've ever played. The ending, the meaning of life, the progress, twists, music, it was all such an experience to play. Vastly overshadowed by Sengoku, i guess it clicks with normal players more.
Basicly this was the one that had similar playstyle to Sengoku Rance, but with an alternative timeline story as stated in the overview correct?

Yes and No. Rance usually does evil things out of impulse and personal gain rather than being a sadistic genocidal archvillain like kaybliss who loves pain and suffering does care about the girls under him in a twisted way. True neutral.

You and the other homie that replied are awesome. Thats a whole ton of games to go through. It drives me up the wall to not start from the beginning when it comes to such a large franchise but sadly I do see the problem as always that it comes from over seas so translations will always be the issue especially with something so apparently long lived(didnt know there were that many lol). Ill see what I can come up with, appreciate you making it much easier with the image!
