This is what PopsexStudio said on Discord on 18 March:
" Everything is moving smoothly towards a
release in April, so I'll probably spend a lot of time rebalancing the weight of the points of the relationship events with the love interests that will determine which endings happen to each girl, especially those not related to the main plot of the game. "
This is what PopsexStudio said on Discord on 22 April:
" Hello everyone, a quick update on chapter 25. The simpler ending with the shorter route is already in testing and apart from a few problems with the new gallery feature, everything is going smoothly with the testers. The other 3 routes still need to be finalized in terms of assets and code, and the harem route needs some script revisions, code and assets. In the last few weeks it has been possible to establish a decent rhythm and organize the remaining tasks, and chapter 25 has an
expected release date of May 30th. I'll be sharing more frequent updates in the coming weeks. Thank you for your support and patience. "
There were no game status updates on Discord from him until 28 May.
This is what he said on Discord on 28 May:
"Hi guys, sorry for the lack of news over the last few weeks, personal life, my job and the chapter 25 patch cycle have left my life pretty hectic, especially new features chapter 25 where the part of the code that was done by a third party for the gallery, and replaying the chapters after finishing the game, the guy made a mess and messed up all the event tracking in the game (which generates corrupted saves and inconsistency between chapters), from a point where I was simply having to review things from day 1 (chapter 25 depending on the scenario goes up to day 180), so I decided to go back to an old version of the game before his work, and merge what I've changed in the last few weeks and see if I can save some of his work (which I paid for). Given all this, it will be impossible to release the game in the next few days, and i
n two weeks' time I'll come up with a new date. I know it's frustrating for you and it's definitely very frustrating for me. "
So he'll supposedly announce a new completion date by 11 June.
On 2 June he posted the following on Discord:
" I have more than 20 years of software development (not games) and I have a decent version control structure, the problem is that during this period that I was basically just taking care of my father, basically the end of last year and the beginning of this year, I basically worked 1 or 2 hours a week and I wasn't looking at what was being changed in the core modules of the game, and I wasn't even worried because the gallery should be 100% separate from the main code, and when I was working on checking in and checking out the code I didn't notice that changes had been made in the core that I hadn't made. The regression test (full game) done by this “developer” was completely manipulated and when I went to test the endings of chapter 25, and my regression test, many events from past chapters were not working or mapped as they should have been, and the damage was already done because a lot of the balancing and coding of the final events of the game was done on top of the code that had been altered incorrectly.
