Yeah, don't really care for the new implementation. The whole draw is to avoid getting knocked down or get out of the whole being groped scenario. I don't care if she has post victory sex scenes, but when it's solely her initiating it, there's a loss of tension/excitement that draws out the wanting to avoid or trigger certain scenes to unlock them in the first place. Now you've gone and lost that because now people will just skip the content to get straight to the end, but there's no end so now it's just content hunting.

Way less interesting than the regular grapple escape dynamic.

i don't know why the players enjoy speedrunning a game to get to the end very fast if they not enjoy the game slowly of every contents the game have for you,the devs working so hard to adding new contents for the gameplay and the players don't care about what the devs made for their players,these completed saves archives just give you the game completed and everything of the gallery unlocked,yeah,that's fine but... what about the things what the devs working on to get new in their gameplay?, if that's so,the devs only add a fully unlocked gallery animation of the characters and stop working on these stages mechanics of the game because some players just are here for the sexy animations and not for the platforming stages of this game.


Isn't that really sad that people don't care about all the effort we make as video game developers who put so much love and beauty into our creations only for some players to speedrun it without enjoying everything we've worked for them.

Paradox of making porn games with good porn that are also good games. Many many porn games have good porn but awful gameplay. Some have good gameplay but really disappointing porn. Its easy to decide between the two when it's one or the other. But when the lewd animations are good and the gameplay is also good, you will still get a bunch of people who only want the porn but since there's a (justified) focus on gameplay as well, that ends up getting in the way of people who only want to fap. As a dev myself I find its better to focus on whatever part people really like and realize people are more likely to complain than compliment and a lot of times if people complain a lot about minor things its usually because they really like it as a whole.

Paradox of making porn games with good porn that are also good games. Many many porn games have good porn but awful gameplay. Some have good gameplay but really disappointing porn. Its easy to decide between the two when it's one or the other. But when the lewd animations are good and the gameplay is also good, you will still get a bunch of people who only want the porn but since there's a (justified) focus on gameplay as well, that ends up getting in the way of people who only want to fap. As a dev myself I find its better to focus on whatever part people really like and realize people are more likely to complain than compliment and a lot of times if people complain a lot about minor things its usually because they really like it as a whole.

if the devs only focused on doing porn the main programmer would have nothing to do lol, animations take like 3 months each, even the 6 frame animations that kincaid uses takes like 3 months for some reason

I'm disappointed. I really liked the original direction of the game, and was excited to see an update.

Upon trying out the new version, it feels like a classic platformer with H scenes kinda taped on...which feels bad. I quite enjoyed the idea that Kincaid was an explorer and running around not necessarily wanting to just fuck anything around.

Now to get sex scenes she has to initiate them and it kinda makes her seem like a ho...especially some of the text added to the scenes. =/ So much for that.

So having her get beaten, fucked and somehow still enjoy it is better than her taking the initiative? I rather have the sex scenes being 100% consensual and completely optional than that worn out cliche of "get beaten and fucked" that the majority of platformers/side-scrollers have.

Also, Kincaid taking the initiative makes way more sense when the game's description literally says "as she sexplores flora & fauna".

All fair points but something else to note is the removal of the stun into sex mechanic makes the gameplay flow way better, which i think works way better for this kind of fast brawler platformer. I much prefer the new direction.

Yes, more friendly censorship. this is not a dangerous jungle at all, and the forest with the wolf is not dangerous,unknown kobold village? Yes, come in, we see you first time, but oh well. In general, what is the point of these monsters, why are they here? it all looks fake as if they are filming a porn scene. Before, at least it wasn't so fake, i actully note it.

the most of it,these places are planets and not a simple location from a simple planet like if kincaid only explore it like an explorer for example lara croft and others characters visiting some native villages and ancient ruins in the jungle areas but not,she go planets to planets like these games of krystal fox.

I like options but they've remade the game four times now and honestly having played it on repeat for so long, just changing outright elements to it isn't worth the time sink anymore if it's just a small content update my guy.

for anyone still lurking here, with cookiedraggy having over 2k patrons, i doubt they'd even take into consideration the opinion of some randoms pirating their game - so as disappointing it is, might as well just move this game out of the nsfw category - as someone said, the porn is kinda "taped on" rather than being integrated into the flow of the gameplay, which is, quite frankly, disappointing - the old version of the game is still my fav nsfw game of the genre

You are rewarded with sex scenes if you play the game well, the porn is now more integrated into the game than ever before. All you had to do before is stand in front of the enemy and wait for him to do it's thing to see the stuff, now if you don't actually play the game you aren't going to see anything.
This is a much better delivery system, specially considering that the game isn't hard at all, playing well before this change would make you miss half of the scenes. The only thing missing is an incentive to do it regularly, like Kincaid recovers health or fill her special attack bar if you have sex with enemies.
Also, as AxisOfRotation pointed out, this makes the game flow way better now, which will make this game much more enjoyable to play in the long run.

Ok, but defeat sex is more fun.

To me, there is no difference between pressing a button to initiate a sex scene and pressing the play button on a pornhub video. The whole reason I got into porn games is because they offer a severely different and more complex interaction compared to other media. With the mechanic of "You win, you get porn (if you want it)," I feel as though I would get the same experience by just playing through the game sfw and then searching "Kincaid" on e621 afterwards. In both cases the porn is player-initiated, but at least with an entirely sfw game I can focus purely on the gameplay.
