hey guys.

i was wondering, is there any way to DE-activate the incest in general? it was in there by default on game start (even showing in the loading screens -now with incest content-). so i guess it's integrated in the actual version, since i never used a patch on this one.

don't get me wrong here, i'm not against some family love in general. i very well could go with '(step)sister' for the younger redhead. but the 'older' redhead, who rather looks like 20+ in appearance... ida know, kinda creeps me out that her dialogues and tags read 'Mom'.

so yeah, like with some config or script files from older versions maybe, would it be possible to return the characters (or at least the 'old' redhead) to their names, instead of some blood-relation? preferrably without having to mess the whole game up^^ i was thinking about a 'incest-reversal' patch whatsoever.

any advice/help is apreciated

I don't think that a fresh copy of the game should have incest. I mean, the incest patch itself is updated with each new chapter, so I guess it would be safe to assume that the game itself shouldn't have any in general. I think without the patch the older one is still the mother of the younger. Maybe you overlooked that part?
Anyways, I think extracting the script files with UnRen, then running "Replace All" in every file could be a solution (replacing "Mom" with whatever you want).

She was a teen mom :=) My opinion 33+ is enough for realism. Yea, she is looking far more younger than that but world has full of that kinda chicks, so i do not care.

for starters maybe i will just redownload the game and see if the incest stuff is already in there. thx for the quick responses though =b

As far as I know the incest patch is a completely separate "patch" file. And it literally replaces whole lines in the game. So don't overwrite the folder, some people actually do that.

You need to check every .rpy file. You never know what people name them. Every .rpy is a script file. So any of them can have dialogues.

Check in folder KindreadVol_Redburns_Ch4/game for 2 files named Redburns_Ch4_Patch.rpy and Redburns_Ch4_Patch.rpyc. Move or delete those files.

I am very interested in Oliveira who seems very calm and cool, and I have another question: Mom (my setting) pushed Oliveri in a wheelchair at the end, but if I choose another option, Oliveira will shoot Sam and MC without hesitation, how can mom let this happen? If she was in the room ?

Ps thanks for this good jod and looking forward to the next update
