Is there any news about the official translation yet?
While waiting, are there any games similar to King Exit or Demon Roots?

Games, I think are somewhat similar, are "Fall in Labyrinth" and "Nursery Slime" (also check out other games by Doubles Core), since they are hrpgs, that focus more on story and characters. They are not as high quality as DR, and not as dark, but IMO still quite enjoyable.
