The future seems kinda dark atm I'd hate a future without seeing sabias story play out. Hell I wouldn't mind seeing only boring green dick's if it means the game development improves and quickens

That depends if the developers themselves have planned an ending for this story. A lot of these games where the story goes off the rails during the course of updates seems that the dev might not have planned an ending at all and the direction gets lost

Damn, forgot to write imo. I originally thought like 2 weeks ago that the release was imminent. That was my optimistic viewpoint. This is the first step towards pessimism. If they don't release today, the shorter release window does not happen though they can still claim february is short, development is hard, they were sick, etc.

Hey guys, .8 will be out soon! Our internal testing is complete, and everything should be running smoothly, and we'll be running a quick beta testing starting the next few days.
This is just to make sure any issues that could pop up are resolved to the best of our ability. Version .8 contains new quests, new characters, new scenes and a bad end! You can find the specifics in our last update post with the release date.

im sure this wouldnt happen if they were working on the game in this 3month instead of siting on their ass and waiting for the cash to come in AND leaving game development and testing for last month

Now when this drops and you only come across 3 scenes remember that they are making content for multiple routes at once. They have to add content for every route while also having the differences in sub vs dom. IMO I can see how additional problems and bugs can spring out of nowhere.

That sound like soo much of effort. But lets not afraid to face the truth. Doing such game is not that super-duper hard as some of you portrait it. To be honest it is not hard at all, especially after over year of experience. The way you describing it is as if authors were sitting there with James Cameron and 10 million dollars worth team of experts working on every detail, every pixel, every possible route. As ahrimansiah wrote. They just suck cash as long as it is possible before pledge amount starts to drop, then do some things(way less than their potential) and release it in glory for another pledge bump and that's how it goes. Of course right after that post will probably pop up answers how I don't have right to expect anything if I am not patreon and even if I am I shouldn't because that's not how patreon works, there is no law agreement between sides. Yeah, there is none, but that doesn't mean players can't expect to be at least treated with some dignity. 1 month is enough time to make your thesis and prepare to defend it at university. How much time is required for team of few to make a cartoon-style game with everything gravitating to all kind of sodomy ? xD Do they have jobs other than this 5k $ per month ? If so that would maybe explain some things, but I don't think so.

this really depend on how many new ARTs they make! because the story part and writing will hardly take more than 1 week! its not a 3d or Animated game! and like their last release there is probably only few new scenes! WHICH again would hardly take more than 1 month! specially considering that different between a SUB and DOM (and etc) scenes are mostly some edits on some parts of the main art! so...
Is it hard to make such beautiful arts and story? yes it is, will it take this long? NO WAY!
Do they need 3 month to prepare the game or to milk cash? ofcourse milking cash!
Are we in position to expect them to be better? ofcourse! they are getting PAID for this! they arent doing it for charity or fun free time! it doesnt matter WHO is paying them! the IMPORTANT thing is they ARE GETTING PAID!
The problem is not Hreinn Games, its the corrupted system of patron, like i said before Patron Plagued the whole Porn game making community, the one time Donate or buy like old times was far better option.

Yeah. I'm sure you've noticed how all those "bonus" scenes for patreons are totally the same stuff as from main game but with head swap or smthn like that. Like this Elmy undertable bar fuck and bonus content was exactly the same art but with sabia's head. That's like 10 minutes job in Photoshop.
