Hm, i don't know how patreon handles timezone differences but i guess it could be logging that as a post in June if you're ++hours from where i am? the most recent thing i see on their page is from May 31st, at 22:42. If you want to see what that post was about it got shared a couple of pages back.
Yeah it shows the latest post on 1st June for me. Must be a timezone difference.

Only two 'updates' from Nomo on Discord. This on 5th July in response to be asking if they can provide a monthly update.

And then this on 11th July in response to being asked what's going on.

So who knows when this is coming. :HideThePain:
I dont get it he said he will make monthly update and he didnt?

It's amazing how far Hreinn has fallen since Sierra Lee left...

I partially blame the community too, every time they had a vote regarding more consistent updates or longer intervals with bigger updates, people always voted for longer intervals. now we get 2-3 updates a year if we're lucky. Back in the early Noxian Nights days, it was one per month, with Sierra constantly updating and communicating with the community.

It also has to do with the fact that devs back then didn't realise they could go months without an update and not lose a single backer on patreon (or at least a few).
If people don't stop en masse giving money they will just keep on doing this.

From their peaks, they've lost about 40% of their Patreon base, which is a shame to say because it is a very high-quality game, and there's really not that much else out there the same size and quality. The biggest things holding them back are time between updates, and communication (which really, I think could make up for the time issue if they did it really well, monthly updates etc). Both of which, I really do hope they improve on.

Nomo spamming nothing but low quality CGs in all the scenes, and mostly reused ones at that.

Massive dip in writing with the loss of Sierra Lee.

Throwing out virtually every gameplay and RPG elements after Sierra Lee left.

The above 3 issues combined to turn this game from a great female protagonist RPG/VN with meaningful choices and interesting game mechanics into a bog standard porn dispenser that doesn't even have the good art that it used to.

Welp, apparently Nomo's in ill health, has been keeping it secret, and there's just no update release plans now. From their Discord and Patreon:

Hey everyone.

We're still working on KoD and have a lot of plans for the characters and story. Unfortunately Nomo has had some personal issues recently and has needed an ambulance a few times in the past few months, but is generally very private and doesn't like to go into stuff too much.

Due to that, we don't currently have an estimation of when we'll release the next bit, but rest assured it's being worked on. If you've supported in any of the months since we had the initial estimation you will have access to the update as soon as it's ready.

We sincerely apologize and hope for your understanding.

I can't even tell how many times I've heard that from them over the past 3 to 4 years. By now, they must be all living zombies, as often as each of them has health problems. And of course, this only happens right before the updates...

I'm putting my gripes with the development aside for a while. I still uphold every criticism i made in the past, but long lasting health issues are not a light subject and they can be difficult to openly discuss.

I sincerely hope Nomo makes a quick recovery and won't suffer lasting consequences.

Don't buy it. Every single hgame dev ever is some invalid crippled by disease whenever its time to release an update. I don't know which excuse is used more often by hdevs, health issues or passing of a relative.
There's a third excuse you see fairly often, computer failure resulting in full or partial loss the game.

I'll personally always give a bit of leeway with this, but till take it with a grain of salt (at minimum).

Oh, SECRET health issues?! Yeah that's not something to communicate to your money giving patreons considering it's had a MAJOR impact in every update for years. I stopped paying a long, long time ago bc of how things have been run. It's BS excuses. If you have health issues you communicate that immediately.

Ideally, you are right. But this is also the internet we are talking about. Opening up about personal problems is very often not the right thing to do here.

From a business perspective? Yeah, they should have been more open about dozens of things and both the dev team and the costumers would have benefited from that.
Small businesses are always a strange mix of official and personal things and as a costumer you are not wrong to say that this is a part of the string of business mistakes they made.
