You better wait, since new version brings advanced item screen so it won't be compatible with old saves. So about to start this game...but by seeing this threads i guess an update is just around the corner? are the previous saves compatible with the upcoming update? if not i'd better wait.
Got it. Thanks a lot.You better wait, since new version brings advanced item screen so it won't be compatible with old saves.
If you don't like waiting several months for updates don't play games with 2d art. They're sure taking up their sweet time, feels like a year.
I don't think anybody likes waiting several months for an update :HeyGuys:If you don't like waiting several months for updates don't play games with 2d art.
I've googled "waiting fetish" and ended up empty-handed... perhaps in the jav porn department?I don't think anybody likes waiting several months for an update :HeyGuys:
Unless this is the first game you ever player i am pretty sure you should already be used to waiting for a update. ::|:I don't think anybody likes waiting several months for an update :HeyGuys:

Great, and maybe add future bonus packs as well.I'll make sure it's compatible with the new version if that's what you're asking.
trust me good things happens to those who waitThey're sure taking up their sweet time, feels like a year.
Seeds of Chaos updates monthly, Fleeting Iris about ~1.5 half months, and this other game with 2D-art called "Noxian Nights" also took about a month to update. If you don't like waiting several months for updates don't play games with 2d art.
It's not the art style that takes time, it's the size of the updates. So Noxian Nights had maybe 1-2 scenes or 1 larger scene per update, while this has more scenes / variants per update. So the patreon supporters decided on more content per update, which they've kept to so far. Note that I'm only comparing Noxian Nights, since that's the same developer team, since that's the only fair comparison for the development speed.Seeds of Chaos updates monthly, Fleeting Iris about ~1.5 half months, and this other game with 2D-art called "Noxian Nights" also took about a month to update.
But yes, clearly, Kingdom of Deception updates taking ~4 months is completely normal.
Agreed, the amount of scene based content in KoD added per month of development is noticeably less than in Noxian Nights. KoD has roughly half the sexual content of Noxian Nights per major update if you scale it on a measurement of scene to month ratio. This isn't to say they aren't a good dev team, but switching to Renpy has obviously slowed down progress on the whole due to the plug'n'play coding from RPGmaker being absent when they need to add new elements to the game. It's been a while, but I seem to remember Noxian Nights having 3-4 scenes in every update, which is pretty comparable to the amount of scenes KoD has per update. The change-log mentions 5 base CGs.
Well, Renpy is worth it imo. One thing I didn't like about NN was RPGM.Agreed, the amount of scene based content in KoD added per month of development is noticeably less than in Noxian Nights.
