You'll need to push each of the lock's buttons to the top of the lock before slowly fall back into place. They must be falling not just stay on top.

it's painful just trying to navigate around the map. 1 hour in and i can barely finish any quest. i know you have idea and stuff but it's just stupid not knowing if it a bug or a feature when i can not progress further

Movement is about 50% of what it should be, the first bit in the house takes over 1 min just to walk, it's just madness. Just increase it, even at double the current I wouldn't call it "quick"
