Probably break, three are several gaps where he went 7 months without a word, and the .12 update took a year.
Dev does this as a side project of sorts when he has time if memory serves right, so updates have always come a bit sporadic. Sometimes there is nothing for year and other times like 2-3 versions within a couple months.

Well he does have a Patreon and is supported by people so it's more... or at the very least it should be.
I admit I gave up on the game and droped my pledge around Version 0.14 or 0.15... around the first time he went silent for an entire year without Updates.
I keep watching testing the waters wether or not this game and it's Dev will eventually come around and give some detailed timelines and be upfront on communications... but it's very likely this kind or game.
Nice to play but not worth to support it long time.
Is there a way to tell how big of an army Im going to face when defending one of my provinces against bandits? Right after the tutorial the second bandit encounter is way bigger than my army and I have no way of telling how many men I need to bring to even the odds.

I can't get more scene on the brothel after I upgraded it, also I haven't met with the Valkrii raiders yet...

The Valkrii raiders is just a random event that can happen at any week it's just the rng for it is annoying. It took me forever to finally get it to trigger and I was still able to get it to trigger on two different saves and haven't gotten the elven slave raids to happen once despite being 150 weeks in

The easiest way to get an Event you like is save scamming... just save before the text say that court is in session and if the events aren't to your liking load the save file and try again... useing fast save/load makes this even easier
I am honestly shocked this hasn't been flagged abandoned, yet. The dev has been radio silent for a week shy of 10 months at this point. Heck, they haven't even logged in here since Dec 26, 2023. It's honestly a shame, I thought this one had the making of a legitimately fun game without the porn.

Hmm. now that you mention it he disappeared off of his own discord too.
His last post there is feb 6th... so 9 months and ~10 days ago (assuming 30 day months because I ain't wasting time checking each month in interim for 29 and 31 day long ones).
also his discord is full of spam now. to the point where, once I have blocked one spammer, certain threads constantly crash the discord app when viewed due to the sheer quantity of spam messages it is trying to hide all at once. (some poor handling on discord's part)

That's sad to hear. I really enjoyed this one and was looking forward to an update.

So far there was something planned with one of the highlords wifes, but I can't recall it ever being implemented.
You can only marry one woman at the moment but can still have many secret love affaiirs on the side.
The dev mentioned wanting to implement policies to eventually unlock polygamy but again it never made it beyond brainstorming.
Irc there is one scene with that lords wife. I remember cause said lord was so much of a douche i messed with his wife as revenge. Which is the whole point of him being a douche granted.
Elven queen actually talks about having sister-wives, meaning you taking other wives. Even hints at knowing that MC has something going on with his little sister during one scene. But nothing more has been implemented in the game.

But you can't be officially in a relationship with family members (even as bastard if you play without IC), and you can only have a single wife.
The Dev used to mention includeing policies that would alow to change this by useing church apreciation scores.
I think the elves have a polygamy system, which is why the Elfen Queen is alright with shareing MC with other women
Oh sure, it wasn't implemented in any real meaningful way yet. Also as the little sister's story reveals, that incest was allowed at some point in the country's history and through that you could find path to allowing it again. But since it seems Dev has gone awol, reasons for it unknown to people here, these story seeds won't most likely be implemented. Which is really sad, since this was really good game that showed real promise.

I mean the story with the mother indicates that the current religion is reffered to as "the NEW Gods"... pretty much means religions changed.
Take Japan it had quiet alot those changes in short orders... first worshipping Nature, than the small time monsters and gods both playing pranks on humans and protecting them, going to Buddism and christianity in the end.
I wouldn't be surprised that the older gods were more in favor of living your live to the fullest rather than restraint and humility as the new gods seem to propagade.
