.... the issue that I clearly pointed out is that drug use doubled in a single year (not 7) and this game clearly does not take place in the 80s it takes place in a time where people have touch screen smart phones that are clearly made to be post 2000s, but thank you for further proving my point about who this game is perfect for.
Drug use did more than double during the early years, it got brought down to earth towards 1987.
Also, at what point does smart phones have anything to do with drug trafficking and use?

As to how far I got like I said I could not make it out of the police station, the specific line I dropped at was about how MC was going to "help the police" so his sister could be processed faster?
Since you didn't correct me I assume this is a fair bit important to the story
As I said, the police isn't exactly keen on investigating something they're likely involved themselves. MC has one contact that he can (thus far) trust and she's someone within the force itself. Even though he's "helping", he's clearly going behind the back of the officer he was initially in contact with and is now investigating with the one person in the force that he can trust.
None of this requires a leap of logic, it's actually pretty straight forward and again, there have been multiple instances of things like this in real life.

Obviously the mayor/the chief of police/any other (likely male or ugly female) character or anybody that stand agaisnt MC for an extended period is corrupt I don't need any hints to know that, once again that's "fine" in a "fap" game but not when it's people keep trying to show it's a serious believeable (in universe) story.
Huh?
You must be registered to see the links
Do you just not realize that corruption and drugs are prevalent both in high end politics and law enforcement? Which again, the game explicitely delves into given the chief and mayor. Again, none of these things are anything unbelievable.

Hell I didn't even mention the other emergency services such as hospitals, they are already dealing with a fair amount of OD/drug realted stuff and that amount literally doubled in the time it takes for a single pregnancy to come to term (+ a few months).
I live in a place that saw a doubling of yearly homicides due to gang related activities.
That number was from 3 to 6 fatalities. Just because something "doubles" doesn't mean that it's going from an already egregious amount to even higher. We have no indication of what the statistics regarding drug use prior to the increase, and we also have no indication of statistics after the increase.

Edit: oh it's also weird that the LI wh WORKS IN A HOSPITAL said nothing about drug use doubling (hospital should be just as busy as police station), or that the cop LI says college kids still are known to experiment with drugs despite the fact that a first timer with no priors is getting the book thrown at her; why aren't other college kids being punished en masse? (It's not just so MC can save her "I swear") But surely that's good writing too right?
LI working in a hospital? You mean the school friend who's working part-time and only filling out documents? Because that's what the game tells you. She isn't exactly doing field work and she likely won't deal much with patient files if she's not actively working as a nurse, she's likely doing internal memos, medical documents and miscellaneous documents.
Also, why would she start talking about drug cases when she and the MC just met after not seeing eachother for a few years, moreover when she's mid-work and busy? That would be extremely weird.
